Dangerously In love

Chapter 9 : Amora's POV

While I waited for Matt to arrive , I made some breakfast for him as a thank you for saving me . I know it was a not much but I hoped he would enjoy it . I made him some pancakes, eggs , toast and a vanilla smoothie which is my speciality . I got his hoodie ready for him to collect . Before I could put the hoodie on the couch, I suddenly had the edge to sniff it . I took a sniff of it and I must admit it smelt really good . It had a strong scent of lavender and vanilla. It was so good that I sniffed it one more time before I could put it on the couch. A few minutes later my door bell rang and I quickly rushed to open it. I opened the door and the person I was expecting was right on my door step. "Come in. " I said after greeting him . " Thank you. " he said as he came into my apartment. " Wow this is a very nice apartment, hey ." he complimented while looking around. " Yeah , I know right . I guess my boss really hooked me up here. " I said and he gave me a confused look . " Oh , is this not your apartment? " he asked sounding obviously confused . " Well , yeah it is mine for the year until I go back to my home in France." I said. "Oh so you are only a temporary teacher at our school?" he asked and I nodded in confirmation. " Anyway Matt , I made you some breakfast. Just as a token of my appreciation for what you did for me last night. I know it's not much but I hope you enjoy it ." I said. I showed him to the table where the food was and he started eating. "Mmm. This is really delicious . And vanilla milkshake is my favourite. " He said looking really satisfied with my cooking. When he was done gamboling down the food , he turned to look at me . " Hey , what are you doing today? Do you have any plans? " he asked. " Not really, I was just planning on watching a movie by myself." I answered. "Well how about you ditch the movie and come with me . " he suggested. The nerve this boy has , I thought to myself. " Just see it as a way to thank me . By the way I'm not taking no as an answer." He said confidently . " And where are you taking me ?" I asked him. " Just a tour around the city, in my car . " he said trying to sound mysterious. Well since he wouldn't take no as an answer, I had to agree. I quickly got ready and followed him to his car . It was a black Lamborghini sports car and judging by his car he was probably from a wealthy family. He opened the car door for me to get in and we got going. We drove around the city and he showed me places I didn't even know existed. He took me to a carnival fair, then the famous Leonis Adobe museum , then an art museum , then the mall . After that he took me to a spot on the beach which had a really lovely view of the sunset . " Wow this is so beautiful.!" I couldn't help but to exclaim. " Yeah I know, this is my favourite spot. I come here just to clear my mind once in a while ." He said while staring at the sunset . I couldn't help but noticed how good looking he was at that moment. His skin looked tan from the sun kiss . He had dark hair in a taper cut , ocean blue eyes that I swear any girl would love to swim in any day .He was a little taller than me and had a built body and a really masculine jawline. Oh my god, why was I thinking about my student in that manner ? . I quickly a had an inner thought argument with myself to shake off the thoughts . When the sunset had completely faded and it became dark , he took me back to my apartment. I gave him his hoodie and just when he was about to leave I stopped him. " Hey Matt, thank you for the tour. I really enjoyed hanging out with you today . " I said in soft tone. He took a few steps closer towards me . " Me too Amora." he said in a really deep voice and took one more step towards me . At this point we were breathing in each others exhale and I started feeling chills run down my spine and some butterflies in my stomach. He leaned in a bit so that he could have access to my lips . I opened my mouth in order to grant him the access he wanted. We kissed for about a minute and got disturbed by my phone ringing and I came down back to earth and quickly pulled away from him. Damn did I really just kiss my student? I thought to myself. " Oh s**t , I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that . That was a big mistake. " I said sounding a bit hesty. " No , please it was completely my fault. I should be the one apologizing. " He said also sounding hesty . " It's fine, you should leave.And please if you may please don't tell anyone about what happened just now or about last night. Please I beg you. " I pleaded with him. " No of course, nothing ever happened. " He agreed with me. We said our good nights and he left . I took a deep breath in and out and then went to take a shower. In the shower I couldn't help but think about what I just did. I felt foolish for doing what I did . I know he said it was his fault but it was also partially mine because I didn't try to stop him and my body was literally just begging him to do it. I swear this is unusual. I have never felt like that before with anyone. Not even my kiss with Ray felt like that. There was just something special about this one and my mind couldn't get over it.

Matthew's POV

On my way back home I thought about that kiss . Not trying to be cheesy but it felt really magical to me honesty . I was a bit disappointed that she did not feel the same way I did though. She regrets it . Which is completely understandable on her side because she is my teacher and way older than me but in my book it was a moment of fate , a meant to be kind of thing. When I got home I didn't know if I should call Jakes and tell him what had happened or if I should just keep my mouth. I chose to keep my mouth shut for one , I did not want to betray her and two because if I told Jake's he would take it as if I'm taking steps in order to win the bet. Don't get me wrong I do want to win the bet but this felt like less of a bet thing than it usually does. Oh my god was I falling in love with my teacher?
