“i don’t know lily. I have so much going on already. It is like everyone is relying on me and expecting me to step up. I know I am going to be the next Alpha but I just want to be a kid for now. I just want to hang out with my friends, watch movies, play games and goof around but there is all these training and stuff and now I have to head the football team.” he sighs. “heavy is the head that wears the crown.” I murmur and hold on to his hand. “damn do I know it.” he says. “what will your dad say?” I ask him. “you know how he is.. he will be so elated that I am finally taking on more leadership roles in the pack, hear me out lily, I want to be the leader they can rely and depend on but it just seems like they are putting so much pressure on me all at once.” he says. “if you are not ready now that does not mean you won’t ever be ready. I just means you should pace yourself and take it easy you know. Just take a deep breathe and think things through before making any long term commitments. I think you should talk to your dad about it. After all he is the Alpha and he knows best.” I nudge his shoulders. “yeah. that’s exactly what I’ll do.” he nods. I pat his arm and shift even closer to him. He smells good. He always smells good. Like the woods, pine and fresh green grass. I sniff his arm discreetly. “did you just sniff my arm?” he asks. Damn. He found me out. Damn his wolf senses. ‘i didn’t.” I deny. “errhmm, yes you did. I definitely caught you sniffing my arm. That was totally you.” he says. “i am not a weirdo that goes around sniffing people’s arms. I don’t do that and that’s a very big allegation coming from you Jeremy.” I sniff. “huh. Is that so?” he asks. “yes it is.” I say. “okay then.” he smirks and before I know it his hands are tickling me. He knows how sensitive I am and he is tickling me so hard that my bag falls off the chair to the floor and my arms are flaying all over the place. “stopp.. please...” I gasp out between each panicked shriek. “then admit it. I am not crazy. Admit it you lying hussy.” he grunts. “okay okay. I will admit it. Please enough.” I beg. “that’s not good enough for me. I need admission. Not promises.” he tells me. “okay. I sniffed your arm. I did. I did it. Enough please.” I beg him gasping for air. “stop it already please.” I beg. “yeah. Okay.” he lifts his hand while I lay there sprawled and catching my breathe. I sit up and find out that in all that struggle my cap went off my head and my white blond hair is tumbling down my back in a wave of silky white strands.
