We can’t go and eat with you shirtless. Emily is just going to throw you out of her shop.
I tell him.
He grins.
“Yes. She gets real testy about the clothing policy.” He says laughing.
Many times I have witnessed her throwing people out of her shop when they come in without any clothes on. She does not play like that. She hates it when people disrespect her by not doing what they are supposed to do in the first place. Wolves can be very rowdy and disorderly. She’s in her mid years and she is married to Owen who is more of a patrol officer than the other partner and co-owner of the shop. He just steps aside and let’s her do her thing but she throws a very mean right hook and can handle herself when it comes to dealing with over zealous wolves and trust me they can get very rowdy when they get hungry or even worse angry.
“I’m just going to grab a shirt from one of the stashes that dad keeps at the great oak.” He says.
“Yeah. Okay. We have to hurry though. It’s getting late and I am rushing home to help mama get dinner ready.” I tell him.
“Okay. That works. Let’s hurry then.” He says.
