Learning a bit about the monsters she saw in the underworld and those they summoned as well, the book also talked about the Gods of the underworld such as:
Anubis: God of the dead and dying Ahriman: God of all the evil that existed in the world Adro: The only one who could communicate directly with humans, despite being invisible, he could assume different forms of appearance. Apophis: Existed before the creation of the world. Therefore, he is the great serpent and the arch-enemy of Ra.
It also talked about the hierarchy of the underworld and the rules that existed there, where there were Gods, demigods, subordinates, and followers. Ayla was only above the followers. The book spoke about the rituals and explained the elements:
Water: The origin of life, fertility, transformation, purification, strength, and cleanliness. Earth: Firmness, strength, determination, objectivity, practicality, structure, groundedness. Fire: Energy, strength, creativity, and action. Air: Associated with wind and breath, air is considered a means of spiritual elevation, representing a subtle world between heaven and earth. Spirit: The most powerful and unimaginable; it is the foundation of all things in creation.
Ayla was reading and memorizing everything to learn everything with Persephone and figure out how to leave the underworld, and now she would not see her beloved until she figured it out. A week had passed, and Lilith spoke to Ayla again so they could go to the hall of the Gods and meet Persephone. Upon arriving, they saw Hecate, who talked with them, asking how they were, and then left. In the hall, they found the detestable Atayr, and Ayla was curious about what he was doing there, but he just greeted Lilith and left. They walked through a garden with tall bushes where the sun shone, and there was a pleasant breeze, and they found Persephone.
~ "What a delight to see you," said Persephone. ~ "Oh my Goddess, I say the same," said Lilith.
Ayla said nothing, staying silent with the book in her hand, looking at the sky, feeling the breeze. Lilith put a hand on her shoulder and said: ~ "She is all yours!" ~ "Shall we start the training?" ~ "Yes, my Goddess!" Then Lilith stayed behind, and the two walked through the garden. ~ "We are going to have training; I didn't see any rituals in the book." ~ "Not just an exchange of wisdom. What are your questions about life and death?" ~ "I have many questions, and one of them is knowing how you managed to leave the underworld. I saw everything about the underworld except how to leave it." ~ "You want to leave the underworld?" ~ "I intend to, but Lilith wants to make me strong and would never let me go back." ~ "And why did you want to go to the underworld?" ~ "To gain power and knowledge!" ~ "After obtaining that, you can leave just like I did!"
Silence reigned. Ayla and Persephone talked for hours. Persephone told her story to Ayla, talked about her mother, and her passage through the underworld. Since she was already a Goddess, it was easier for her to leave the underworld, but as Ayla was a subordinate, it would be a bit more difficult because it was as if she had sold her soul to Lilith, but nothing was impossible. They talked for hours, and even the night passed. Ayla returned to Lilith's castle. On the way, she encountered Atayr, who always acted high and mighty, and Ayla ignored him.
~ "The little witch is learning a lot; soon she will be Lilith's official slave." ~ "I am not her slave; I am a subordinate. I am below her, but I am not her slave." ~ "How not, when you have to obey her like a little dog? You can't even see Denys, your beloved, anymore. Soon he will become a subordinate of the Demon King, and you will never see each other again." ~ "And what are you then, who doesn't follow rules?" ~ "I am a demigod, son of the God of Torture, Balls, and some random witch who made me a demigod of the underworld. I am practically a God, and that's why I have powers over you, and you can't deny me favors because I am above you in the hierarchy." ~ "And what do you want from me?"
~ "Prove what made Denys fall in love with you. It's impossible for a demon to fall in love." ~ "He didn't fall in love with me because of s*x, and because he has feelings, unlike you." ~ "Lilith gave me the power to use you."
He grabbed her by the arm, took her up the stairs, and into a room in the castle. While Ayla resisted, he threw her onto the bed, lifted her dress, and began to have s*x with her. She remained silent as she always did. He took her from behind, then threw her onto the bed and ordered her to ride him. She obeyed. At no point did he hit or mistreat her, even though she didn't want it. He ejaculated inside her, got up, and left her in the room as she was, with her dress lifted up to her waist, hair disheveled, and on the verge of tears, but she didn't cry. One thing intrigued her—if he was half-human, could she get pregnant by him? This stayed in her mind until she found Lilith and asked her.
~ "Lilith?" ~ "What, Ayla?" ~ "Did you allow Atayr to use me?" ~ "Allow? He helps me a lot, and I couldn't deny him a favor." ~ "If he is half-human and I am a human witch, can I get pregnant by him?" ~ "You can. You can get pregnant by gods, demigods, but not by demons. I hope you don't show up pregnant, or I will rip the child out of you."
Ayla stayed quiet and began to wonder why Atayr asked to use her. She started to think he might like her because he didn't hurt her or treat her badly. It seemed like he paid attention to her only because of Denys, even though there were other witches there who were followers of Lilith.
She hadn't seen Denys for a month and began to seek friendship with the witches who had been followers of Lilith for a long time. She befriended Elo, who had been following Lilith for almost 50 years but looked like a twenty-five-year-old woman due to youth rituals performed with animal cubs or children. They went everywhere together and encountered Atayr in Lilith's castle.
~ "Hi Ayla, Lilith asked me to take you to the hall of the Gods." ~ "Alright."
Ayla followed him, and along the way, he asked her,
~ "How are your studies of the underworld going?" ~ "I am learning a lot from Lilith's followers." ~ "But you are not like them. You are stronger and more powerful than they are." ~ "I don't care about your hierarchy."
He put his arm in front of her, pinning her against the wall so she couldn't move forward. He got very close to her, their breaths mingling.
~ "You are from here and must follow our rules."
She leaned her head against the wall, and he moved closer and kissed her. Her face grew hot, and her heart pounded. He removed his arm, and they continued walking through the hall of the Gods.
~ "Where did Lilith ask you to take me?" ~ "She said Hecate wanted to speak with you."
