5 Explosive power

"Why don't you shut the f**k up!?" I yell out angrily while suddenly slamming my father into the wall with only my voice, my body beginning to glow a soft red color as my blue eyes begin to glow as they sharpen while my heart pounds harder and faster as I unwittingly cast the spell 'Forced Reconsideration' on my father out of a combination of sheer built up anger, rage, and exhaustion. My body shaking as I used a lot of stamina and mana to send him across the room with both power and the mental attack. "Do you not f*****g think!? Do you honestly believe I coasted my entire f*****g life you failure of a f*****g father!? I worked my ass off in school going through boring class after boring class getting straight f*****g A's just to try and hear you say 'I'm proud of you son' because you never gave me any kind of f*****g attention unless I did something wrong!" I say starting to calm down, my body still glowing a soft red color before it faded and my eyes stopped to glow as I start to huff and puff, struggling to breath easily after casting my first spell before walking past my father and step-mother. One shocked unable to understand what just happened, the other trying to come to terms with these new feelings of failure and being as wrong as he was behind mentally, he knew this was the start of a long road to growing, but he had no idea what was going to happen now. As I walked through the door to the testing room Colonel Emily stopped me and had me lay down on a nearby bed. "What the hell happened out there? I heard it from in here." She asks me as I start to calm down and relax and breath, using 'Meditation' to help quickly restore my stamina and my mana, smiling softly as I see the new bar. "I cast a spell for the first time, and I am barely now starting to calm down enough to understand what I can now do." I say smiling softly and happily as she let me rest up completely until we began the tests to reveal my new updated stats to the government for recording. Strength: 6 Intelligence: 8 Wisdom: 6 Constitution: 12 Agility: 6 Confidence: 26 Aptitude: 15 Mentality: 13 Status: Bronchial Over Production: +2 Constitution -10 Stamina total. Anxiety: -2 Mentality -10 Stamina. PTSD: -40 Mental Fortitude -2 Aptitude. Sociopathy: +100 Mental Fortitude +4 Aptitude +3 Intelligence -70 Emotional Growth. I chuckled softly seeing that after confronting what caused my depression caused me to finally be rid of it, as well as leveling up got rid of my sleep deprivation. I slowly began to stretch and relax my body smiling softly and happily while allowing myself to relax some and noticed my two new tabs. [Stats][Status][Skills][Inventory][Spells][Magical Research] "Emily, do you know anything the Magical Research Tab?" I ask causing her to sputter and spit out her sip of water before drying herself off. "I did not know about any such tab, we only know of the Spells tab, is that tab what it sounds like?" She asks as excited as I am before I stand up nodding and, using some nearby blank paper and the magic research Tab, creating the first ever Magic Scroll and the first ever item created through the system alone. "And I think I may be able to level up again in a few years, if I keep up this learning speed." I say as I the hand the scroll over to Emily who happily begins going over it before remembering why we are here in the first place. "While we do need to look into this, please begin the Strength test." She says, reminding me why we are here as I walk over to the dumbbells and pick up two 30 pound ones without much issue, but can only do 15 total reps before needing a break before starting hopping pushups, completing 10 reps of 10 before needing to stop. "Well you went up 2 points in strength it seems." Emily says before moving on to the constitution test, where I drink the least diluted paralysis poison, and am unaffected, as that is the highest they are allowed to test us with. "My Constitution is at 12." I say chuckling as we move on to the agility test, and I smirk as I run the entire course in around 40 minutes, a 6 stat normal pace. The wisdom and Intelligence tests are very similar, the only difference is the focus between correct answers and understanding. Emily set up the mentality test, and the confidence test, the only one untested and easy to see is the aptitude. I take a total of 3 hours to complete both of these due to my own increase in stats and no longer being depressed or sleep deprived. I scored near the best outside of roughly 60 people each of them being part of the high end of the army, and almost untouchable outside of this country. -----After the test----- "Thank you again baby, but I think we may not have to wait to be able to see each other." I text my lover Sam, while I focus on my work and step through the front door of my home, arriving just inside the main lobby of my work, smiling softly and happily as I am beginning to master my second spell, 'Teleport' right now I can only teleport to where I know the location, have been there, or, to teleport to someone, they have to be within 50 miles of me right now. "When did you arrive!?" Marrisa exclaimed, both surprised and excited as there was a soft blue glow to my body that was slowly fading away right now, the mana that had moved me between two points in space and time. "I learned how to teleport, but I have to wait a full minute before I can move so that I do not pass out." I say smiling softly and happily as she quickly begins talking to Erris about my extreme new growth and my ability to now move through space and time, and how I quickly I will be able to grow our little Café. It has been about a week since my retest, and now I'm just kind of moving along without issue and learning what ever I can about magic. The morning, outside of my arrival, was quite uneventful, and due to the matter of my power behind my skills, I have kept most of my abilities and new spells hidden to the world, and now I have to attempt to keep a low profile while the government has to figure out what to do with me because I can both make system items, and research spells as well as make scrolls to teach spells to others. -----Near the Capital of the United States----- "So, we need him to work with us, but we also need to know everything he does, but we can not actually track him or watch where he goes if he figures out how to use a teleportation skill like Japan has." The Commander says, his hands in front of him folded together as he read over the file of the new prodigy that may be more powerful than him, but is also just trying to get along in life the best thing for the country may be to get him to be able to live a simple life outside of any requests they have. "Sir I think you are giving him too much credit, he only just awakened to magic, we must get his magic research ability, but other than that he is useless." "How dare you!? He made a scroll able to teach someone the spell he knows, if he can do this for whatever skill he knows, or whatever spell he knows we can have an army of teleporting soldiers that can not be fought." The table quickly broke down into two very separate but not really equal sides, the stronger half all wanted to increase their reputation with Daniel while also allowing him to live a simple life, they saw his potential, but also saw his struggles and pain from his bad upbringing into the wonderful young man he is now, while still being capable to be emotional even as a sociopath. The other side more over feared that he would leave, but also that he would not be able to do anything for the country let alone the army, his spells may require more power than soldiers are actually able to use. They ended up agreeing to put it to a vote among themselves, and their direct subordinates and they would all reconvene in roughly two hours for full communication. "So Nelvin, what shall we vote for?" Emily asked her general as she looked over at her partner, a colonel only in ability, he was barely able to string words together but was also strong enough to be able to go toe to toe with Nelvin outside of Nelvin's one spell which could increase his physical strength for about half a minute, only to take down Colonel Farbin by barely being able to withstand his attacks before he passed out, if Farbin could actually use his head, he would easily be head to head with the Commander and probably coming to either a draw or a death. -----Once night had arrived----- "Baby, send me a pic of your room please?" I ask my lover smiling as I leveled up my teleportation spell to be able to teleport without distance restriction but I also have to be able to see the area of where I want to teleport to now. My phone vibrated as my lover sent me an image of their room and I happily memorize it and think about their room before teleporting and my skill properly activated sending to the doorway to their room as I smirk before getting tackle hugged by my lover. "I told you we wouldn't have to wait much longer hun."
