Chapter 8 - Demanding.

I woke up the next morning and rolled out of bed. I took a shower and got ready for the day. Saturday, a day off from everything where I could really relax. I put on a quick camisole and a pair of comfortable shorts. I opened the door and sighed. How could he already be here? I walked down the stairs and saw him standing in the kitchen next to Amy. Blake turned and smiled at me. I walked into the kitchen and straight to the fridge. “How are you Kelsi?” Blake said and I looked at him. “Fine.” I said putting juice on the counter. “Blake was just telling me that tonight’s dinner won’t be formal, but not to dress too down.” Amy said. “I forgot about that.” I said grabbing a granola bar. “Is that all you’re going to eat?” Blake asked and I stared at him. “Where’s Jake?” I asked him. “I don’t know.” Blake said. “He’s with your father. They’re at the pack house.” Amy said with her back turned. “Maybe you should show me what you plan to wear tonight.” Blake had a sly smile on his face. “I thought it didn’t matter.” I said as I walked out of the kitchen. “Leave the door open!” Amy called after us and I stopped. “He’s not coming with me.” I looked at Amy. “You’re not coming up there with me.” I said to him. “I’m just curious about your outfit choice.” Blake said and Amy watched us. “I’m going to my room.” I said and turned quickly. “Keep the door open!” Amy yelled louder. I went up the stairs and stopped in front of my room. “I told you not to come with me.” I said and Blake reached past me opening my bedroom door. “I just want to see what you plan to wear tonight.” Blake said. “Well if I had it my way, nothing.” I crossed my arms. “Oh well, we can arrange that later.” Blake chuckled. “I meant I wouldn’t go at all!” I yelled. “You’re sick.” I glared at him. Blake walked to my closet and started going through it. “You really wanted to go through my closet?” I said surprised. “Yes, my dad will judge you by what you plan to wear.” Blake pulled out a dress and looked at it. “No, definitely not.” He put it back. I watched as he pulled out an old white dress I wore to a formal dance. I was forced to go and the only thing I loved about the dance was wearing that white dress. “This one.” He walked out and put it on my bed. “You WILL wear this tonight.” He demanded. “Why should I listen to you?” I looked at him. “Because the first time you wore it, it looked nice. My father will be impressed.” He said and my cheeks flushed. “What’s this?” He grabbed my chin and looked at me. “Nothing! Let go!” I grabbed his arm. Blake’s lips were on mine. I felt like sparks tingled from his kiss this time. They spread over my body and Blake tried to deepen our kiss. l*****g my lips as his lips roamed. I pushed on him. “Blake.” I breathed out softly. This was a different reaction. This time I didn’t try to fight him off after. The feeling stayed for a moment. I embraced him as his lips caressed my neck when I suddenly came to. “Get off!” I pushed on him. “How do I get you to say my name like that again?” He whispered. I continued to push on him. “You… you don’t!” I struggled to push on him. His lips moved to my shoulder as he pushed down a strap of her camisole. “For so long, I’ve wanted to hear what you calling my name would sound like.” Blake whispered. I stopped pushing on him. His words had shocked me. How long was so long? Blake moved his hands and I slipped away from him. I went to the other side of the room. My face was still very flushed. “I have had many girls throw themselves at me.” Blake slowly approached. “You however, are the only one that resists and runs away.” Blake stood at an arm's length. “Sorry I don’t roll over at your feet.” I said rudely. “Blake! Rayna wants you to come home.” Amy called up the stairs. Blake rolled his eyes and walked to me. I glared at him as he leaned down and crashed his mouth into mine. He pulled away and looked into my eyes. “Wear that dress.” He said and I mindlessly nodded. “Good.” He kissed me again. As much as I tried to resist, my hands embraced him again. He pulled back and looked at me. “See you at dinner.” He let go of me and walked out. “This is stupid.” I said with my arms crossed. We stood in front of the pack house. I felt stupid in this dress, why did I wear the dress he wanted? “Kelsi, it's one dinner, and after that maybe he’ll reject you.” Jake said. We looked at the front doors as Amy and Parker walked up. “Let’s get this over with.” Parker said. The doors opened as we got closer. A few guards nodded at Parker as we walked through. I felt this overwhelming feeling that Blake was near. My mind went to the kisses we shared today. My heart started to pump faster putting me instantly in a bad mood. “What’s wrong?” Jake leaned over and whispered. “Nothing.” I said as we got to the dinning hall. “You look mad.” Jake whispered. “I’m fine.” I said as a maid directed us to sit on one side of the table. “Now this isn’t our first dinner. So you all will stand when Alpha Caleb comes in.” Parker said. “Yes dad.” Jake and I said in unison. Suddenly the staff stood at attention. “Stand.” Parker said and we all got up. The doors opened and there he was. Alpha Caleb Westley with Luna Rayna Westley on his arm. Blake followed behind them and I averted my gaze. They all sat across from us and the silence ensued. “Shall we start then?” Caleb said flatly.
