“Talk of the devil,” Oscar Agostini said as Ross knocked and entered his office, with Izzie Drake in tow. “He's here now. I'll get back to you soon, okay?”
Agostini hung up the phone and Ross asked,
“Is it a bad time, sir?”
“Not at all, Andy. That was Fern,” he replied, referring to his wife. He and Fern had been friends of Andy and Maria Ross for many years, from the days when the two men worked together as detective sergeants in the Criminal Investigation Department.
