Chapter 32A Meeting of Minds
The squad room was buzzing as Ross and Drake prepared to address the team. Sofie Meyer was quickly introduced to the others by Keith Burton who was only too pleased to shepherd her around. She quickly developed a rapport with Sam Gable, the two women having a shared background in working with their previous respective vice squads. Nick Dodds found himself blushing when Sofie, in her direct teutonic manner, told him he had the 'rugged good looks' to be in the movie business. He made a mental note to tell his latest girlfriend just that, and then quickly decided against it in case she thought the new woman was after him. Tony Curtis rapidly added himself to Meyer's admirers, almost drooling like a puppy dog over the more than attractive new member of the team. R
