Andy Ross's office felt extremely small and cramped as he, Izzie Drake, Paul Ferris and Sofie Meyer made the most of the available space to hold a private strategy conference.
“I must say, your arrival and initial input seems to have galvanised the whole team, Sergeant Meyer.” Ross spoke with a smile as he addressed the newest member of the team.
“Thank you, sir, but really, I was lucky to find what may be what you're looking for when I looked at your case files, and please, I notice you address most of your team by their first names in certain situations. I would be honoured if you would also call me Sofie, if you wish.”
“Good, yes, of course, Sofie. I didn't want you to think I was being too familiar with you on your first day with us.”
