Chapter 34Baltic Sentinel The full light of a sunny Liverpool afternoon was beginning to fade as an assortment of officers from the hastily assembled joint task force gathered at the prearranged time, in the inauspicious looking car park of The Happy Wanderer pub on Rice Lane in Bootle, not far from Gladstone Dock, to the south of Seaforth Dock, and far enough away so as not to cause any undue alert in the target area.
