Chapter 19

(Alex's P.O.V)

Last night was weird after damian left griffin seemed down, she said good-night and went to bed. The way they were looking at each other and somewhat flerting, i new griffin liked him but was holding back and i don't know why. I am staring at the celing thinking about all of this and i hear griffin streach and yawn.

“Morning griffin, sleep well?”

“Like a baby. You?”

“Same. Griffin......” She turns her head to me.

“Hmmm?”

“You like damian, but yet you were extremely resurved why?” She sighed

“This is the first time we have been free........ I want some time to myself, i need to know who i am before i can get to know someone else” She sits up on the bed.

“I can respect that, but”

“Alex all i have ever known is fighting, never being able to fully sleep, never had the chance to not look over my sholder, i need to know me. No fighting, no pain, just trying to find me.”

“Sorry, i didnt mean to upset you.” I bowed my head in shame. Griffin stood up and walked over to me and sat down.

“I know you just trying to help me, but i need to take this journy on my own, i will need you and mrs willson, but adding someone else right now wont help.”

I looked at griffin, she was right. Even i dont know who i am or who i will become. Griffin hugged me.

“Lets go get some breakfast shall we.”

“Sounds good.”

We made our way to the kitchen, mrs willson was already finished cooking breakfast. We ate and drank tea, mrs willson then piped up.

“So you and damian.”

“No, no he is just being nice because he knows you”

“Hmmmm........ ok, can i ask a silly question?”

“Sure why not.”

“What did he smell like”

“What do you mean what did he smell like?”

“Ok what do i smell like?”

“Ahhhh roses mostly, very comforting.”

“Good, what does alex smell like?”

“Why are you asking me all this?” I can see griffin is getting annoyed.

“Well your a wolf, i heard you and alex this morning and i want to help you find yourself.” Griffin vislaby relaxed.

“Oh.....Ok she smells like......” She sniffs the air “Like pine trees.....”

“I smell like what now???” Mrs willson and griffin started laughing.

“Ok so what did damian smell like?”

“Like peaches and cream.”

“Very good, wolf sence of smell is much, much stronger than any human.”

“Ah i always could smell which guards were coming, thats really cool.”

I still cant believe i smell like a pine tree..... How lovely, Mrs willson and griffin were talking about wolf stuff for a little while before griffin when to go shower.

“Mrs willson why were you asking griffin that stuff?” She looked at me then put her ear up for a moment.

“Right she is in the shower, i had a suspison yesterday that damian is infact griffins mate...”

“WHAT REALLY!!!”

“Shuuuush keep your voice down,” I cover my mouth “Sorry.”

“With all the trauma she has been through, she needs time and i think damian could feel that yesterday.”

“Ok so how can we help?”

“Thats just it, we cant she needs to do this jurny and find her feeling amongst the pain and hate she feels” I nod in understanding.

“When she gets out the shower i will start her memory treatment, in hopes she can find what she is looking for.” I was about to ask what is she looking for but there was a knock at the door.

(Damian’s P.O.V)

I woke up this morning feeling ontop of the world and nervious as hell, i jump out of bed and try find some nice clothes all the while thinking i get to see my mate today. Blaze was bounding around in my head excited too.

“So excited to see mate!!”

“You must wear blue, mate likes blue.”

“Good advice bud! I definatly will.”

I found my blue superman shirt and some shorts and i was ready. I bound down the stairs about to reach the door when i hear lee.

“Where you off to looking so shmancy and happy?” He is looking at me up and down.

“Just going out, the quicker the better. Dont need kiki ruining my mood.”

“Yea i hear you man, cool have fun. I will take over from paul.” s**t!!

“Ahh dont stress lee i will take over from him. The least time i spend here the better.....”

“If your sure man.”

“Yea its no worries.”

I quickly left and breathed a sigh of relif when i closed the door behind me. I feel like a school kid doing something bad. I jumped in the truck and headed down the hill. Arriving at mrs willson’s house i had nothing but butterflys. I made my way to paul and sent him to the safe house, walking to the door i hear alex shout WHAT REALLY!!! Hmmm wonder whats that about. I knocked and a few moments later mrs willson opened the door.

“Good morning mrs willson.” With a massive grin.

“Morning lover boy, she is in the shower she should be out soon.”

“Ahhh........I.......Ummmmm”

“Dont worry we know you letting her find her own way to you, we not saying anything. I heard her voice

“Wont say anything about what?” Oh crap.

“The suprise of course.” Mrs willson to the rescue.

“I would ask what surprise, but i know know you wont tell me.” She looks so sexy!! She is drying her hair with a towl and is wearing shorts and a spaggetti top with sculls all over it. DAM THIS GIRL IS FIIIIINE!!!!! and she is mine, if she will have me.

“Morning damian.” She is smiling at me ahhh that smile that could melt icecream........Then my wolf says to me “ SHE IS TALKING TO YOU DUM DUM!” Oh s**t right.

“Good morning beaut.......iful day isnt it.” f**k!!! I nearly called her beautiful........Hopfully she doesnt notice.

“It is a beautiful day.” Whiw that was nearly bad....... My wolf pipes up “Dum, Dum” I shout at him “Shut up you” He just laughed at me.

“So what is this surprise?”

“Well are you ready and we will make our way there.....”

“Yea, i just need to grab my shoes,” as she walks away her hair sway’s behind her, and dam she has a nice ass! I hear someone clear there throat and i turn around to meet alex’s gaze with her arms crossed over her chest.

“So where are we going?” Wanting to bury myself under the table.....

“We are heading to the aquarium.”

“Oh cool i havnt been there since i was a kid!” Griffin appeared a few seconds later.

“Ok im ready.”

We left the house and made our way on foot to the aquarium, mrs willson took us through the park. There were some people playing fetch with there dogs, some young couples hugging and kissing and the sweetest one i saw was an old couple walking hand in hand, laughing and joking around. It warmed my heart, i hope one day griffin and i can be like that i looked at her and i see her smiling at the same thing i am. There is hope at least.

The walk didnt take long and we got to the aquarium, i paid for everyone and we made our way in. To see the look on griffins face as a shark swam over us as well as all the colourfull fish made my heart fall for her that much more. I swear once she accepts me as her mate i am going to show her all the wonderful things in the world i will take her wherever her heart desires.

We walked around for hours, watching the dolphins jump and do tricks had her in awe. One of them splashed us and not sure if it was instict or just a fright she hugged me. My goddess the shear amount of pleasure that palsed through my body as i felt her touch was undescribable, i looked down at her, as she looked up at me it was breif but amazing as she realized what she did and backed off quickly.

“I.....I.......Sorry i just ah.....”

“No damage done” well other than my member standing to attention.......Lovely....... i smile at her and she went a bit red.

“Hay no need to be embarased i got a fright too...”

“Yea i know its just....” She trailed off.

“Just what? You can talk to me, remember no serial killer vibes,” She started laughing.

“Its nothing dont worry” She smiled and looked down at her now wet clothes that clung to her perfect body. Oh goddess that does not help members with my member.......Ah bathroom!!!!

“Why dont you go to the gift store i am going to pop to the bathroom quickly.”

“Ok see you there.” I walked slowly till they couldnt see me then ran to the bathroom, I went in and trided tucking it into my shorts so that its not that visable. This girl is going to be the death of me...... After i am satisfide that its not that visable i made my way to the gift store and saw griffin wearing a t-shirt that said “replace my t-shirt cause of dolphins” Thats absolutely brilliant she was eyeing out some of the plush toys and picked up a dolphin, then put it back. I walked up to her.

“I see you found a shirt” She smiled at me.

“Yea i love the fact it says that i got wet by a dolphin” She was laughing, i will never get over that beautiful sound.

“Mrs willson and alex are there lets go to them.”

“I will catch up i am also in need of a shirt.”

“Ok” She walked towards them,

I grabbed the plush dolphin and a shirt, paid, changed and made my way back to them. I heald the dolphin behind my back.

“Hay griffin, i know we just met and this is probably creapy but here is your birthday pressent for yesterday” I pulled the pushie out from behind my back and she lit up grabbing it and giving it a squeeze.

“Not creepy at all, how did you know?”

“When i came into the shop i saw you holding it.”

“Thank you.”

“It is an absolue pleasure” i looked over to see mrs willson smile and wink at me which made me smile.

We walked around a little more then made our way out to head back to mrs willson house. I cant help but think what an amazing day. On the way griffin and i spoke about anything and nothing , i told a few bad jokes but she still laughed and before we new it we were back at the house and it was getting late.

“I best be on my way, i had the most amazing day thank you.”

“Always a pleasure dear” Mrs willson replyed. As i go to walk away i hear her voice its like sweet music to my ears.

“Will we see you tomorrow?” She is hugging the plushie.

“I would love to,” I smiled and she blushed, “Good night griff”

“No one has ever called me that.”

“Sorry if you don....”

“I like it,” she smiled at me.

“do you have a cell?”

“Ahhhh.......No it a......Got stolen.”

“Ok well here,” i grabed a pen and paper from mrs willson and wrote down my number.

“If you ever need anything or if you just want to talk call me any time.” She smiled as she took the paper.

“Ok i will.” She walked inside and i walked away as soon as i was out of site, i did a few fist pumps i was making progress, i made my way to the spot we sit on watch dutie and linked lee.

“Hay lee can you come take over for me, infact i think we can say she is happy where she is maybe just come get me.”

“Yea ok if your sure” I look in the window to steal one last look at her.

“Yea man, im sure”

I ended the link so i could just watch her as she laughed and spoke with alex and mrs willson. 45 minutes later lee linked me to say he was in our car hidding spot, i made my way to him feeling like i am the king of the world. I jumped in the car only for lee to kill my happiness.

“Whats got you so chipper?”

“Cant i be happy?”

“I have never seen you like this........Ever.”

“What ever man, lets just go.”

“We not leaving till you tell me whats going on.”

“Nothing is going on” I said that a little high pitched......Shit.

“Spill the beans damian........”

“Fine......” I took a deep breath, “I found my mate......”

“Oh my goddess dude thats f*****g fantastic!!!!!!!! Who and where is she?” i give him a sheepish smile.

“Oh......Oh no....” As realisation hits him “Griffin?”

“Yip....”

“ Holy s**t dude, that is terrifying and awsome at the same time!”

“Yea i know, i have to take it slow and i cant tell her im the prince....... Not yet at least.”

“I dont dissagree with that......”

“If you happy now can we go?” He started the truck and when back to the safe house.

If i want to keep up apperaces i need to buy a diffrent house far away from the safe house, i will need to start looking as soon as we get back. Money is no issue as i have hotels all over the world and home away from home houses, but i dont want to scare her. I need to find something homely. I jumped onto the internet and started serching there were a couple nice ones but not what I’m looking for, there it is the perfect house!!!! It had an amazing garden, fulled with flowers. 2 bedrooms with ensuites on them bigish loung and a fairly big kitchenv it had parkay flooring and a fire place. The kitchen has black floor tiles and white tiled walls with a dark almost black cupboards, this was perfect! I contacted imidiatly and made the deal. It came fully funished just need a few bits and pieces to make it a little more my style. I smile at my achevement and we get back to the safe house.
