Chapter 1 Bloom's Pov “Beggars” ”Wretch” “Cockroaches” “Slugs” “Scoundrel” I scoffed as I walked past them, groups of dimwits,I call them Tyson and his idiots,I am still working on new names though. “Scoundrel…oh that's a new one”I rolled my eyes at the insults ,my twin brother behind me also glaring at them . “I see you have been working more on your vocabulary Tyson” “....but I doubt you could actually spell the word though” I sneered at the group of idiots who knew nothing but to bully my brother and I. With the years my brother and I have spent living in this godforsaken pack house,I can bet my pinkie finger that no one actually knows our names, which is alarming since being in packs means living in unity, being as one family but I see that as bullshit though. “Well I might not know how to spell the word,but I know you two are just useless and worthless omegas,who no one wants “Tyson sneered blocking our paths,his friends circling round us. “This pack is really doomed if this dimwit gets to be our future alpha you know”I mindlink my brother,we both shared knowing glances. “We don't want any problem Tyson ,just let us leave” “No I won't, weren't you acting cocky earlier you scums" he cursed " …always crawling before my dad to beg for scraps” he added. “Disgusting omegas”his friends echoed, shoving us to the ground. My twin brother clenched his fists, jaw tight ,ready to throw a punch, "Just ignore them,if we fight them again the alpha will withhold our daily meals like last time"I tightened my hold on him whispering "But it hurts, everyone clearly knows they started it first"he mutters voice low "I know ..just don't give them the satisfaction they crave"I mind linked glaring hard at the i***t. "Cat got your tongues,you have nothing to say? weren't you acting all mighty earlier,after my dad messed up you both last time,you have learnt not to be cocky yeah" "Especially your spineless brother...no words today,your body still hurting from the last beating"he hovers kicking at us . "Weren't you acting tough days ago , being all Mike Tyson?" "If I kill you both now ,I bet no one will care" The words hung in the air heavy and sharp, my brother shifted beside me breath unevenly, Tyson words ringing in my ear. He wouldn't dare right- I knew he was bluffing, I know him to be a coward but that still didn't make the fear any less, he is still a growing Alpha. I could feel my brother's anger ready to snap but I tightened my hold on him. "We can't, not now" I mind linked firmly, his jaw clenched, nostrils flaring but he didn't move. Sensing our fear Tyson finally stepped back, laughing like a maniac, like he had won a lottery and my brother and I laying in dirt couldn't do anything about it. "Until next time scum" he spats, leaving with his friends. We kept our gaze down, laughter sounds echoing around us, passersby watching, not stepping in , it is not like I expect them to do anything , they all turn blind eyes whenever it comes to be about my brother and I, no one actually cares about us, I already lost hope in them. That is why this pack disgust me - they don't need to kill us physically to break us ,they do it mentally. Hunger, Humiliation, Silence those are their favorite weapons to use to own us and this isn't the last time.
