Those few days in the jail cell didn't seem so bad now. Being reappointed as Alpha after Kain made his division and managed to get people on his side wasn't an easy journey and now there was another baby on the way.
It was one I didn't expect but one I couldn't turn my back on. I knew Kayla was right and sooner or later I would find a reason why trusting Lily was a bad idea but I was hurting Kayla in the process.
