After alerting Amaris, and getting the gem, and other items in Zane’s safe, we quickly made our way out of pack territory undetected.
The night sky was engulfed in smoke as a forest fire burned, capturing everyone's attention in the pack to put out the flames.
“Looks like Sage’s powers are growing.” Amaris pointed out as worry filled me.
Hopefully, she did not lose control, especially while in Colson’s care.
