8 Wednesday morning was warm for the season and the day promised to get even warmer. There was colder weather moving in later in the evening and the next day, Thanksgiving, was supposed to be very cold so Jenny was determined to take advantage of this beautiful weather while it lasted. She headed to the clearing earlier than normal and didn't even have to wear a hat or warm up the tip of her ball point pen by putting it in her mouth before she wrote. She sat down in the bench with the sunrise view and waited for it to be light enough to write.
