ASKING ABOUT BETHANY
When Shea was out of sight of the Summit camp, she pulled out her phone and called Toni.
“¡Hola, mi amor! Are you coming home yet?”
“Soon. But I need you to look into something.”
“¿Qué?”
“I overheard Megan talking with Fake Doctor Linda. They were talking about leaving the body of someone named Bethany out in the woods somewhere. Maybe one of your associates can check if there are any women named with that name who are missing.”
“¡Ay Dios mio! They murdered a woman?”
“I don’t know. Linda claims she died of an aneurysm, but how would she know if she never took her to a hospital? And why leave her body in the woods?”
“Do you know where her remains might be?”
“No. They didn’t say.”
