BUILDING CHARACTER
At dinner, Shea began sitting with Megan. The two of them had solidified a level of trust, now that Shea understood what Megan had been trying to tell her moms all this time.
“Mama Nita says you built the motorcycles for the Pink Trinkets,” Megan said on Thursday evening. Her plate consisted of a small block of tofu.
Shea almost felt guilty when she looked at the vegan feast on her own tray. But she reminded herself that Megan was doing what she knew to be right for her.
“Yeah, me and my crew at Iron Goddess.”
“Then you’ll be excited to learn that Wicked will be at your graduation in a couple of days.”
“Wait, what? Graduation?”
“The intro class ends on Saturday. You will earn your yellow bar.”
“Wow. I can’t believe it’s almost been a week.” Shea savor
