We weren't expecting the huge crowd that had gathered for our arrival. I had figured there'd be a few but not hundreds. The expressions held were a mix of relief, excitement, concern and the odd scowl. Obviously the latter still had some reservations about me, hopefully after today I'd be able to alleviate those fears. They had spent the last decade in deceit and oppression, so those doubts weren't going to go away overnight.
Eden gripped my hand in support and kissed me softly, treating me to her beautiful smile afterwards.
"Will you two quit making out and go address your pack, for goddess's sake. We ain't got all day" Stella spoke up, making Harvey snort in laughter.
