I had been awake for a little while just staring at my mate, kind of like a creep. But I couldn't help it, it was rare that I woke up before him and he looked so peaceful right now. That would all end after he woke up so I wanted to savour this moment while it lasted. His face looked so serene, his brows relaxed and his lips slightly parted as he breathed softly.
"You're staring like a creep again" his husky, deep voice made me jump.
"Goddess, I wish you wouldn't do that!" it was unnerving sometimes how well he could mimic being asleep. He chuckled and kissed the tip of my nose.
"Come on, we've only got 2 packs to unite, the entire aftermath of yesterday to deal with and find out exactly how much your brother screwed up the pack" we had a lot to deal with today and none of it
