CHAPTER 14
The Eternal City Darkness still invades my house when I wake up wrapped by the music that echoes in my ears from so many hours that now I feel the need to listen to the silence of the night. As soon as I turn the laptop off and I put the earphones away, I realise how beautiful it is the city that sleeps and I almost feel sorry because I must sleep again. I look at the clock and I still have three hours left before the alarm clock rings, so I turn off the light and I try to close my eyes while outside the cars pass by the main street. While I try to fall asleep I overhear the noise of a door opening and I wonder who’s going around at this hour of the night.
