Stalked

Chapter 10

As I wake up, I feel Brandon's arm still around me. Still sleeping. I decide to go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the family but as I enter the kitchen, Brandon's mom is already in there.

Maria: Buenos Dias, Mija

Me: Buenos Dias

Maria: What are you doing up?

Me: I was going to cook all of you a breakfast to show my appreciation.

Maria: You don't have to do that but if you like to you can help me prepare breakfast.

Me: Of course I will

As me and Maria are completing the breakfast everyone begins to come to the kitchen except for Brandon.

Maria: where is Brandon? I know he is not still sleeping breakfast is ready.

Me: I will go get him

I walk to the back of the house and into Brandon's room.

Me: Brandon wake up breakfast is ready

I continue to nudge Brandon until he grabs me and pulls me on top of him.

Brandon: I don't want to get out of bed. Well not anymore anyways now that you are here.

Me: You know how your mother is. I will see you in the kitchen.

I give him a light kiss on the lips and head back towards the kitchen.

Me: He's coming

Melody: Thank goodness I thought I would have to dump a bucket of water on him to get him out of bed again.

Me: Are you serious?

Eddy: Yeah she is serious. I wish you were here when it happened it was hilarious

Brandon: What was hilarious?

Everybody stops and looks at Brandon.

Maria: oh nothing Mijo, let's bless our food and eat. Jose blesses the food. Everybody eats, talk, and laughs while breakfast is being finished. Me and Melody put the dishes away.

Melody: So you're ready for graduation?

Me: kind of, what about you?

Melody: I was born ready. But anyways how's you and Brandon?

Me: we are pretty good

Melody: That's good to here because he liked you since you joined karate, he just never grew the balls to ask but now that he did I am happy.

Me: I'm happy he did also.

Melody: Well Ima get going I gotta get ready for soccer practice. Nos vemos, mi hermana

Me: Nos vemos, Mel

As I finish up the dishes I head toward Brandon's room well our room to get prepared for today. As Brandon is looking through the drawer I go up behind him and wrap my arms around his waist.

Me: So what you got planned today?

Brandon: Nothing probably stay home for today and make sure you okay. I let my job know what's going on and they told me to take as long as I needed

Me: Brandon you didn't have to. I would've been fine. You don't have to hold your life back because of me.

Brandon: I'm not holding my life back. We are in this together and I want you to know that. I know this is soon but I love you, Joanna and I loved you for a long time. And I'm not going to let nothing interfere with our relationship. I will be there everyday and when you need me.

Me: Brandon and I will be there for you too. No matter what's going on I will support you and make sure we are on the same path.

As we finish talking, we get our clothes ready for today.
