Chapter 14

Me and Brandon are peacefully asleep until we hear banging on the door. Brandon gets up and opens the door while I'm still in bed. And its Melody.

Brandon: What Mel!

Melody: Sorry for interrupting whatever you two love birds had going on but Joanna has to get up her graduation starts at 10 and it is 8:55.

As soon as I heard what time it was I jumped out of bed. Grabbed my stuff and headed towards the bathroom. I take a 15 minute shower. Get my dress, cap and gown on. When I come out, everybody is dressed and ready. Melody does my hair and make up which takes her a good 25-30 minutes. Then we head out. We made it just in time. As I make it to the field they all grab a seat in the bleachers. Soon the graduation starts. 20-30 minutes later and I can hear Brandon and his family and my grandparents, dad, and siblings screaming and yelling "yeah" as my name is called and I walk across the stage.

1 hour later

As the graduation is over I meet everybody by the gate and is awarded with flowers and hugs. We all take pictures together then start heading out to go eat. We all go to my favorite place Olive Garden. We all spend time getting to know one another, laughing and talking. As we all finish up, Maria tells me they are not going to be home until 11 tonight and to go with Brandon because he has a surprise for me.

I say good bye to everyone and Brandon walks me out. We head towards a park with beautiful blossom trees. He opens the side of the door and helps me out.

Me: what are we doing here?

Brandon: You will see.

We walk around a bit and we finally stop by one of the most beautiful blossom trees.

Brandon: Remember this was the tree we took a picture by for my prom?

Me: Yeah it was beautiful. That was an amazing day for me and you

As I am admiring the beautiful blossoms I turn around to find Brandon on one knee. As I look at him in utter shock, tears start flowing down my cheek

Brandon: I know we haven't been together long but I really love you Joanna. You are very special too me and my family think you are too. You have made me into a better person and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm not asking you to marry me yet but this is a promise ring. No matter what we go through and what's goin on I promise I will always be by your side. I love you and will you accept this promise ring?

Me: Yes Brandon I will and I love you too.

As Brandon slips the ring on my finger tears of joy come out my eyes and we start kissing.

Me: This is beautiful

Brandon: Only for the beautiful woman I am with now.

As we head back home the house is empty. As I take off my gown and cap I find Brandon staring at me with desire and lust in his eyes.

Me: what's that look for?

Brandon: You knew what you were doing when you picked those heels and that dress.

Me: Yep, I was sure you would like it

As I make my way towards the back to the room, Brandon follows. As I turn around I am met with Brandon's lips smashing on mine. Brandon lifts me up against the wall and began to devour my mouth. Brandon: It's going to be okay. When I gave you that promise ring I meant everything I said Joanna. No matter what we go through I am there to support you. Now let's get some sleep before the others get back.

We both get back in bed. As soon as my body is next to Brandon's I instantly fall asleep in his strong arms reenacting today's events in my head.
