Ten: Conjuration“Again!” Jadis commanded sharply as the Hakon stood dripping with sweat. “We have been over this a hundred times. I just can't do it!” Jadis shook his head. “Can't is a poor word for those poor of character. He cared for nothing more than a warm bath and a long deep rest in his bed but Jadis was not in a merciful mood. “I'm trying but it's not working!” Jadis walked near Hakon, his feet echoing loudly in the stony hall and lunged forward sweeping the bottom of his staff under the boy's leg and sending his small frame crashing to the ground. “What did you do that for?” Hakon protested. “You must be mindful of your surroundings.
