On the night of Moon Valley's 100 years of fruitfulness. Inside the magnificent and gigantic kingdom of Moon Valley pack. Aurora could be seen in the royal kitchen cleaning the floors with her body aching even though she tried to be strong. She has been working lately. She was born in the family of the Gonzalo's, her father Beta Klaus sacrificed her life for the Alpha Xander daughter only to be repaid by banishing him and his pregnant wife out of the pack. She grows up to live a normal life, she has made a life for herself by sneaking off to the Moon Valley pack everyday and even managed to secure a job as a maid in the Alpha Xander royal court. She is dreamy, beautiful and has a light hearted personality. Everyone she meets loves her because of her sweet charisma even though they didn't know the root of her being an outcast. She looked up as she heard some footsteps approaching her. It is Lady Mae, the head of the royal kitchen. She stood up without wasting time as Lady Mae called her. "What is it lady Mae?"she asked with her gaze fixed to the floor. "The Alpha and his family are having dinner" Lady Mae pauses to look at her expression. "What am I going to do?" She asked, bending her head slowly in obeisance. "You are going to serve the tables," Lady Mae said with a stern look and Aurora's heart made a loud tumble, not in fear but in happiness. "Get ready." Lady Mae said and walked away. Aurora was excited because this would be the first time she would be close to Alpha Xander and his family. What gives her joy most is the fact that she is going to be close to Alpha Xander's son, Darius LeonHeart. She has a huge crush on him, she just won't stop daydreaming about his handsome face. After several minutes of preparing different mouth watering delicacies of food. She heaved heavily as she prepared the last food on the list. She smiles softly to herself before walking out of the royal kitchen with the tray of foods. She walked into the throne room holding the tray of foods gently with her heart beating really fast against her chest. She walked towards the table with her gaze fixed at the floor. She bowed her head slightly and placed the tray of food on the table. Alpha Xander and his family were all present in the throne room. She serves the food around, each one of them except Darius, her crush. A large amount of butterflies roamed in her stomach as her eyes met with the ocean blue eyes of Darius LeonHeart. How could she have forgotten how breathtaking his face was? Just one glance at her she felt her bones melt into her skin. Not wanting to get lost in the swamp of blue butterflies, she averted her gaze and brought out the food from the tray and placed it on the table on his front. She poured the wine in the huge jug into the glass cup and as she proceeded to drop it on the table she tripped, due to lack of concentration and some of the wine splashed on Darius. Loud gasps filled the air, different gazes lashed at her, awaiting Darius' next action. Aurora knew she was in a hot mess, her shoulders slumped and she looked down in embarrassment contemplating if to clean him up or apologize immediately. Darius remains calm, his eyes looking down on his slightly stained garment. His insides made some horrible noises, he raised his face to see the stupid maid that did and as he glared at her his eyes turned bloodshot. Aurora was quivering, cursing herself for being so clumsy, but as much as she tries to take in the blame her wolf was jubilating. It was making ruffled noise as it senses Darius' scent to be her mate. Darius spared her one more glance, he wasn't sure what he was feeling but he was certain it was coming from her. He looked at her once again and a Lily scent hit his nostrils, it was her scent. She is his mate. As if acting on impulse they both snapped their heads up and stared at each other. And right there they felt it. The cravings, sudden heat, burns in their chest, 'mine!' his wolf growled underneath him and he shook it off, giving her a dead look. She looked at him with tears rolling down her cheeks. Her hand snuck up to her face immediately and she rubbed it softly. It was as if it was tearing off. She would never have believed he would slap her even after discovering they are mates. "Such a pity that the goddess has to make this weak maid my mate." He said dryly, "Let me make this clear to you I can never be your mate, I Darius the next in line Alpha of Moon Valley hereby reject you as my mate." He declared, without remorse. His voice wearing the most horrendous tone she has ever heard and this aroused whisperings and laughter from the royals on the table. Alpha Xander who was quiet all this while, furrowed his brows in an alarming way with his attention fixated on her, he sneered as his eyes met with the crest necklace sitting on Aurora's neck, and immediately he recognized her. The Gonzales family. "Guards, lock her up in the prison, she is nothing but an outcast, she has also violated the laws by leaving off the outcast ban," Alpha Xander said and the guards rush at her. The guards held her by her arm, she cried heavily pleading for forgiveness as the guards dragged her out of the throne room. She cried to herself in the prison without no food or water for days. Her stomach felt empty with her body generally. She never thought it would turn out like this. She looked up and covered her eyes with her palm due to the ray of light which penetrated into her eyes. Suddenly, the prison door creaks open and Lady Mae steps into the prison room. "Aurora," Lady Mae called in a soft tone, touching her soft silky hair which was now looking so rough and unkept. Aurora sniffed in the mucus trying to drop from her nose and cleaned her tears with her palm. "The Alpha asked me to release you. I would advise you to never show your face in Moon Valley ever again, I know it must be hard for you but take heart." Lady Mae said and gave her a little pat on her shoulder and left immediately. Aurora buried her face in her palms and cried. It was a great relief that she was leaving the heavy gates of the prison but how will she cope? That question lingered far into her mind as she walked off the prison with two guards beside her. They throw her out of the pack, leaving her alone in the cold breathtaking weather. Days later, she stands in front of her favorite cliff, the cliff is where she goes whenever her mind is bothered. She cries to herself as the past event flashes on her head. It is hurting and depressing to be rejected by your pack and your mate in front of numerous people. She looked at the cliff and thought of commiting suicide, even though what she is about to do is not good but what is the purpose of living when she has been rejected by the pack and her mate. Her eyes flicker open and she cleans her face to be sure she wasn't seeing things. It was real, a pack of rogue wolves were ferociously running into the Moon Valley pack territory from the top view. The destructive wolves were led by a strong black wolf and without thinking twice, she runs back to the royal home to warn them about the invasion. She made her way through the guards even though they gave her a hard time, she didn't back down. She ran straight to the Alpha's court in an attempt to warn everyone of the great danger ahead. On reaching the court she thought of what to do and her hand grabbed a chair and smashed before their eyes drifting attention to herself. "My Alpha," she bowed, falling on her knees, "I saw a flock of rogues in the territory of the pack," she announced, breathing heavily. "How did you get here, guards! arrest her and lock her up in the prison with no food or water for three days-" Alpha Xander couldn't complete his statement as he heard screams coming through the pack with the help of his werewolf hearing. Shortly, the door burst open with a young handsome but deadly looking man walking in like he was an expected guest. His heavy garment was stained with blood of the werewolves he had killed on his way to them. Aurora quivered, her legs wobbling like that of a warm, she shut her eyes tightly taking a little peek at the handsome dangerous looking man. She drilled at his handsomeness even though she was scared, she couldn't understand the sudden feeling building up in her hormones. What is happening to her, there's no way the goddess will give her a new mate just yet. Her mate is the fearsome rogue Alpha Adonis, just like what happened in the dinner at the throne room, his scent excites her wolf but the fear outweighs the primal attraction. "Why are you here Alpha Adonis and why do you have to kill?"Alpha Xander barked, his teeths grilling up at each other. Why would an Alpha just invade his pack and kill some of his wolves? "I'm here to ask you to join an alliance with me and kill every last werewolf hunter on earth," Adonis said with a calm but dangerous tone. Alpha Adonis, Alpha of the gruesome shadow rogue pack. He is the most feared werewolf in the North Eastern. His parents were murdered, he created an alliance with different rogue wolves after discovering his parents were killed by werewolves hunters. "I can't give you what you asked for, you can't invade my pack and kill the wolves, and expect me to join an alliance with you!" he rebukes angrily and Adonis' eyes turn red. He dash at Alpha Xander and slit his throat with his long deadly claws. Blood oozed out of Alpha Xander and he fell down dead on the floor which resulted in loud gasps. Aurora shivers in fear looking at the blood scene, she tries to escape from the room, thinking he would kill everyone in it but before she could leave, Alpha Adonis catches onto her with a fierce look on his face. "You are my mate." He growled out, putting everyone in the room in a shocking state. After he signals to his other rogue wolves to finish off what he started in the room, he carries Aurora up over his shoulder ignoring her cries and thrashing, he leaves Moon Valley pack with her. *** Aurora was dragged all the way from Moon Valley to Adonis mansion located in Shadow rogue pack. She looks at him with fear due to his coldness and how ungentle he was with her even though she is his mate. When would this get less worse, it hasn't been long she has been rejected by Darius and now she is the mate of Alpha Adonis who hasn't been nice but cold toward her. She marvels with her mouth open as she steps into the main building of the mansion which was designed with golden fur interior. After some minutes of walking past rooms and offices, Adonis stops in front of a room whilst she looks around with an innocent look. "This is your room, some of my comrades will come to welcome you." He said coldly and walked away. Aurora signs and twists the knob of the door walking into the room. She looks around the room which is dark, the light flickers brightly as she turns on the switch. She lays on the queen size bed and closes her eyes to sleep. It has been a long time since she slept after she got rejected by Darius, all she does is cry and weep all through the day. She peeked her eyes open as she heard a knock on the door. "Who is at the door?" She asked as she stood up from the bed. "We are from the Alpha." A masculine voice said from the door. Just then the door creaks open almost immediately revealing three male and two females walking in, one of them was walking like a b***h. "How are you doing Aurora?" One of the females asks, smiling at her while the other one rolls her eyes at her. She looks at the second one and shrugs it off. "Not fine," she replied shortly. "Is it because of his coldness towards you, don't worry much about that, that his character even since his parents died, and that by the way my name is Jessica Blake, she is Talia Black." Jessica said and pointed at the second girl who scoffed. The males also took their time to introduce themselves. "What is the Alpha to you because it is very rare for him to bring in any girl into the pack." Tania said for the first time with a glint of jealousy in her eyes. Aurora gawks at them with a confused face, they are supposed to have known about her being the mate of the alpha. He must have told them or they wanted to confirm it from her. "I am his mate." She dropped the bomb which erupted an outburst of shock and laughter, especially from Talia Black who is Adonis' right hand woman and she's extremely loyal to him, beyond the usual. "Please can you guys leave." Aurora mutters sadly with her face buried on the bed. Tania smirks and walks out of the room followed by the others. She stands up and walks to the door, she locks it and walks back to the bed. She sat on the bed holding the crest necklace caressing it with tears dropping from her face. She closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.
