Later that night Aurora wakes up panting heavily, she had just had a dream about Luna Fae's death and she blames herself for it. She saw it as if the incident was just happening now. Hot tears clouded her eyes as she quickly stood up and started walking out of her room. She hates Adonis and she doesn't want to be in his house; she just wanted to run away, so far away that he would never see her again. She ran hastily out of her room and was running out of the house when Adonis caught sight of her. He wondered where she was heading and quickly ran after her. She was out of the house in a short while as she continued running. She ran into the woods unknown to her that Adonis was following behind her. She didn't bother looking back as she continued running deep into the woods as she continued weeping. She was so sad beyond all reasonable doubt. She felt so bad for Luna Fae's death. She didn't even bother to protect herself against the trees and bushes and hit her as she continued running. Her body was totally bruised but she didn't really care much, she just continued running. She only wanted to just get far away from Adonis not minding the fact that it was already so very late at night.
Aurora's tearing dropped all over her body as she kept running. Her legs were now so weak and she couldn't just continue again. She stopped closer to a tree and rested her back against it. She kept sobbing there as she rested her head on the tree. She was so very weak but she couldn't help it because the thought of Luna Fae's death was still very fresh in her head. She remained seated there sobbing until she finally fell asleep there after crying her eyes out. Her eyes were closed but one would know she had been crying because they were shallow. Adonis, who had been following her all the while, stopped and glanced at her from a far end. He could see she was so broken from how she looks and he didn't need anyone to tell him he was the reason behind her current mood. He was actually cold since he lost his mate and he had totally shut his heart from caring but seeing Aurora that way he just couldn't help it. He sighed and glanced around before walking towards her.
He stopped in front of her sleeping figure and took in a deep breath before trying to carry her into his shoulder. Just then Aurora's eyes opened and she knew immediately that it was the same Adonis she was trying to run away from that was now carrying her again. She started hitting him immediately. "Put me down you monster." She cried, but Adonis didn't pay much attention to her because he knew she was so broken and it was all his fault.
"I'm talking to you let me go immediately." She cried, and tried to get down from his shoulder but he put her back into his shoulder carefully because he didn't want to increase the pain she was already going through. Her whole body was bruised before the trees and its branches.
Adonis knew he was far away from his pack now but he needed to give Aurora some treatment because he was sure her body would be aching as hell from the bruises. He made his way to a nearby pack where he was taken in by some good people and was offered a place to sleep with Aurora who was badly hurt. He dropped her in a bed and she didn't bother standing up because she was just too weak to think about that. He asked the people in the house for a first aid kit which they gave to him immediately. He took it and went back to the room Aurora was in. He looked at her for a while before he finally proceeded to sit beside her. He opened the first aid kit and took out some cotton wool and added a little bit of spirit to it and started cleaning up her bruises. After cleaning her up he held her closer to himself as he felt the urge to comfort her. He had shut away his emotions since his mate died but tonight he couldn't help it but to feel Aurora's pains. Without being told he knew his emotions had returned. He spent the entire night sitting beside Aurora as she slept peacefully after he had cleaned her up.
Soon it was morning and he didn't have any sleep last night because he had held her closer to himself all night. He knew that Aurora won't just forget about what happened easily and so he needed to give her some space too. He stood up before she would wake up and sat a little bit far from her. Aurora was finally up after a while she glanced around and her eyes landed on Adonis who was sitting at a far end. She frowned immediately and quickly looked away. She hates the sight of him now. She wished she could really be away from him for a while but for sure she knows that's not possible. She wished she could just stay back there while he leaves,so she could get herself together but she knew he would never agree to that.
Adonis raised his head and saw Aurora already awake. He smiled. "You are up already, I guess we should start preparing to go back immediately." He said but Aurora didn't bother to say a word, she just remained quiet. Adonis took up the first aid kit and walked out of the room. He returned it to the people in the house, who immediately invited them for breakfast. Adonis sighed before going to call Aurora. She was really pleased about it though but she just didn't want to say anything. Aurora walked behind Adonis as they both walked over to the dining room.
They both had their seats as they were served food. Aurora just tried to fake a smile as they all sat to eat. She doesn't really feel like eating anything but she still didn't want them to feel bad that she didn't eat the food they had served her out of their good heart. She slowly tried to eat the food a little before taking some water. She told them she was filled and they smiled at her in return.
After they have both eaten they later left the pack and returned back to the shadow rogue pack. Immediately they got in, Aurora didn't bother doing anything as she just went straight to her room. She has a huge grudge in her heart for Adonis but Adonis was feeling so guilty about everything. He understood what Aurora was doing and he didn't feel bad about it. He knew for sure he was at fault and he had to look for a possible way to melt her heart. He hates the fact that she was that hurt and he has decided to make her happy again. He went into his room and started taking off his clothes immediately. He was looking dirty and he didn't want to bother the people that had helped him and Aurora at the nearby pack that they had spent the night with. He didn't really want to bother them any further because he knew they had really tried to accommodate them for the night and also gave them food that morning before they finally left. He walked over to his bathroom naked with his clothes in his hand which he dropped in the laundry basket immediately before proceeding to mix a warm soapy water into the bathtub. He sighed heavily and Shook his head in a negative manner before finally stepping into the bathtub. He relaxed back into the water and slowly used the soap in the water to wash himself up.
After a while he finally got out of the bathtub and opened the locks to allow the water flow out before locking it's back. He walked out of the bathtub but grabbed a towel on his way out. He walked straight to his closet and picked out some clothes and dropped them on his bed. He actually needed to go over to his office because there was some work there waiting for him that he really needed to attend to. He dried his body and applied some skin lotion on his body before getting dressed. He returned his towel back to his bathroom before heading out. He met his cook on his way and she stopped him.
"I'm sorry to disturb you Alpha but breakfast is ready." The cook said,
"Well about that, I won't be having breakfast and either his Aurora we have had breakfast already." Adonis told her.
"Oh,ok then." The cook bowed before walking away. Adonis sighed and continued to where he was heading.
