Chapter 11

rora got to her room and laid on her bed. She glanced around the room and sighed. She doesn't know what to do anymore. She was sad and not comfortable being there anymore. She just wished she could head out for a while to somewhere she would find a little peace of mind but honestly that isn't possible because she doesn't know anywhere that would bring her comfort as she really wanted. She remained in her bed as her mind drifted off to Luna Fae again and she felt guilty all over again. Tears threatened to flow down her cheeks but she tried as hard as possible to put it aside. She wants to just be at peace for a little while without having to worry about anything. But different thoughts that hurt her kept coming into her head. She kept turning in her bed and not knowing what to do. She thought of something that could be of a little help to help. She needed some distraction because the guilt was slowly killing her. Just then he mind went to reading a book and she quickly decided to go with that idea. She got on her feet and started walking out of her room. She actually doesn't really know the way to the library in the house or probably she wasn't sure if there was a library in the house or not but she would definitely find out now. Aurora walked hastily to the kitchen and was glad to the cook washing the dishes there. The cook turned over to her immediately she walked in, while Aurora was trying to catch her breath. She had walked so fast or probably ran all the way to the kitchen because she knew if she wasn't fast enough the cook might leave the kitchen before she would get there and she doesn't know the Cook's room in the house. And she couldn't ask any of the maids because they wouldn't even bother to answer her. None of them ever respect her because Tania had belittled her before them. "I'm sorry ma'am but do you need anything?" The cook asked. "Yes, I actually need to." Aurora pulsed as she tried to relax her panting heart. "You need what ma'am?" The cook asked politely. "I need you to lead me to the library in the house,if there was actually one though." Aurora said, "Oh yes, there is a library in the house and I will lead you there immediately, just give me a minute." The cook said with a smile plastered on her face. Aurora sighed and waited for the cook who hastened up with what she was doing. The cook was finally done washing the dishes and she quickly arranged them back before drying her hand with a hand towel. "Ma'am I'm ready now,so let's go." The cook said, "Alright, please let the way." Aurora replied. And the cook nodded and quickly got in front of Aurora as they both started walking over to the library. They passed through Adonis' office and Tania's room and Aurora could only hope that none of them would come out and see her as she walked on following the cook. They finally stopped in front of a door and the cook held the doorknob. "Ma'am this is the library." The cook announced as she pushed open the door. Aurora's eyes fell on the many books well arranged on the library sheff and she smiled and walked fully into the library. She couldn't help but just glanced around staring at the books. She was amazed by how big the library was and she wondered who usually goes there to read. She sighed and thanked the cook who just smiled before walking away. Aurora shot the door of the library against herself and she started walking around looking for a book which would catch her sight. Her eyes finally landed on one book after searching for a while and she hastily walked to it and grabbed it before walking to a chair in the library. She sat down comfortably and opened the book and started reading it immediately. Meanwhile Adonis was in his office when his mind went to what had happened earlier that morning and how cold Aurora was treating him now. He felt guilty for it and he doesn't want that to remain. He was going to make up for his wrongs and he was going to do it as soon as possible. He wants to see a smile on Aurora's face again and he was so ready to do anything that would bring the smile back into her face. He had been thinking of something to do to make her happy since that morning but nothing had even come into his mind. But he still won't give up until he succeeds in making her happy and feel much better again. He doesn't really know why he cares so much about her now but he would just try to make sure she goes back to her usual self again. He sighed and took up a file and tried to work on it but he was a little distracted so he just stood up and slowly started walking out of his office. It was noon already and very soon he was sure that he would get to see Aurora's sad face again in the dining room and that again would also do well in hurting him too and increasing his guilt. He walked into his room and picked up his cell phone. He was going to head out for a while, so he didn't see Aurora's face in the dining room. He quickly was out of the room and proceeded towards his sitting room. Just as he was about to leave the house he heard Tania's voice from behind him. "Where are you headed, Alpha?" Tania asked, and Adonis frowned and slowly turned to her. "I just feel like taking a little walk around." He replied with a fake smile. "Ok hopefully you wouldn't mind if I tag along?" Tania asked, walking closer to him. "No I don't." He replied. "Ok, let's go then." Tania said, and held his hand slowly. Adonis didn't bother taking Tania's hand away because he knew she would definitely put it again so he just allowed her as they both started walking away. He just needed a little air and space to think about a perfect way to make Aurora happy and also forget about all that just happened between them. They both continued walking for a while before Tania decided to start up a conversation. "Adonis, can you believe Aurora wanted to fight with me yesterday when you asked me to go and check up on her?" Tania said, "Oh sorry about that." He just simply said, "No, I think you need to yell at her, because it seems she's no longer afraid of you." Tania advised, but Adonis didn't bother saying anything as he just kept quiet as they both continued walking. "You know before now,if I just mention your name, she would quickly go and do whatever I want her to do but yesterday she was just so stubborn." Tania said, "Oh ok, but I actually understand her though, she isn't in a very good mood right now and I think that's why she did that." Adonis told her. "Come on, are you trying to defend her or what?" Tania asked with a frown. "No I'm not defending her but you and I know that everyone always has mood swings sometimes." He said, "I know but still she doesn't have the right to disrespect you, besides you and the Alpha." Tania sighed. "Yes I know that but what she did was out of anger and she wasn't in her right state of mind." He said, "Hmm," Tania exhaled. "Why do I have this feeling that you are supporting her?" Tania asked, and Adonis smiled. "I'm not don't see it that way but all I'm saying is that she just is not in for any of your drama and I think you should consider giving her some space to breathe." He told her. "Ok," Tania sighed. "Perfect." Adonis said, as they both continued walking. But this time there was a total silence in their means as they walked on. Tania couldn't just bring up another conversation about Aurora because she knew Adonis would never support her on it. Her head was actually filled with the thought of Aurora and she has so many things against her but right now was just not the time to spill them out because she said the way Adonis has spoken in her defence and she knew it was a total waste of time to talk about her in a bad manner. So she just left them untold. They walked together for a while and they sat down together at a spot. Adonis didn't bring up any conversation too because he was still in deep thought.
