The beginning
It was late in the night,almost midnight when the unbearable noise of Fatima woke Selman.Fatima is the wife of Selman,they weeded about a year ago.What is wrong my beloved Selman asked Fatima,I think the baby is coming replied Fatima. She(Fatima) is nine months pregnant and is time for her to put to birth.Selman and Fatima lived in a town called Ojoku. Ojoku is a town under ankpa city.
Over the years the government of ankpa city has not been favourable to the people of Ojoku town. No infrastructural development,no government intervention on any matter concerning the people of Ojoku town. It was almost as if Ojoku town is not part of ankpa city. It got to the point where the people of Ojoku could no longer bear. And considering the fact that Ojoku town is the biggest town in ankpa city they decided to fight for their own freedom.
Of cause the government of ankpa city could not watch that happen,so just like every other freedom fight,it has no been easy for the people of Ojoku town.
For months Ojoku town has been under curfew and this has made the situation very complicated for Selman. The town is under curfew,movement's are not allowed and now his lovely wife is in labour and about to put to birth,this means he has to do something and he has to do it really fast. It was already 1:36am Selman was still confuse and clueless, at this point the pain was becoming too sever to Fatima to bear. Selman on the other hand could not stand his lovely wife going through so much pain so he finally made up his mind to take his wife to the hospital that night not minding whatever consequences that might come with his decision.
The nearest hospital is few miles away and there will have to pass through two heavily armed military check points to get to the hospital,so this was obviously going to be a rough journey for Selman. Knowing all this facts Selman still thinks the life of his beloved wife and the life of his unborn child is worth more than any risk out there. At the first check point,the soldiers there were very harsh and strict,they didn't even want to hear whatever it was that brought Selman out at that hour of the night,but after almost thirty minutes of begging and explaining,Selman was able to convince them to let him pass. Luckily for Selman the second check point was not as though as the first one so he got to the hospital without wasting too many time. When they got to the hospital the doctors nd nurses swung into action and in less than an hour the baby arrived,it was a boy. The next morning Selman and his wife went home happily with their baby.The child was named KLEEM.
