It's started

Grayson and Scarlett were getting ready for bed, their room filled with a warm, comforting glow from the bedside lamps. As they went about their nightly routine, Grayson's mind was preoccupied with a worrying thought. "Scarlett, I'm worried about Olive," he said, his voice low. Scarlett turned to look at him, concern etched on her features. "What's going on, Grayson?" "She's growing up so fast, and I can see the teenage years starting to hit her. I know it's normal, but it's still hard to watch. And then there's this thing with Beau." Scarlett raised an eyebrow. "What thing?" Grayson sighed. "During our last visit to Red Moon, Hunter and Beau's friend Turner mentioned that Olive has a crush on Beau. But Beau doesn't feel the same way, and I'm worried that she's headed for heartache." Scarlett placed a hand on Grayson's arm, trying to reassure him. "Olive is strong and confident, Grayson. She can handle it. And who knows, maybe she'll find someone who likes her back. She's young, she has her whole life ahead of her." Grayson nodded, but he still couldn't shake the feeling of worry. "I know, I know. I just don't want her to get hurt, you know? She's my little girl." Scarlett smiled at him, her eyes softening. "I understand, Grayson. But she's not so little anymore. She's growing up, and we have to let her make her own mistakes and learn from them. That's how we all grow, after all." Grayson let out a small chuckle, his worry slowly dissipating. "I know, I know. You're right, as always. I just can't help but worry about her." Scarlett leaned in to give him a kiss. "I know, love. But we've raised her well, and she's going to be just fine. Trust me." Grayson smiled at her, feeling a sense of comfort and security wash over him. He knew that Scarlett was right and that they had raised their daughter to be strong and confident. He just needed a gentle reminder every now and then. Grayson and Scarlett were getting ready in the morning, getting dressed, and doing their hair. They were excited about the prospect of a date that evening, but there was also something weighing on their minds. "I can't believe Hunter's going off to alpha camp soon," Scarlett said, brushing her hair. Grayson nodded, his expression serious. "I know. It's a big responsibility, and I just hope he's ready for it." Scarlett sighed, turning to face him. "I'm sure he'll do fine. He's a smart kid, and he's been preparing for this his whole life." Grayson smiled, reaching out to take her hand. "You're right. I just can't help but worry, you know?" Scarlett squeezed his hand, then let go to finish getting ready. "I know. But he's going to be surrounded by other young alphas, all learning and growing together. It's a great opportunity for him." They fell into a comfortable silence for a moment, finishing up their preparations. Then Grayson spoke up again. "So, about tonight. I was thinking we could go out to that Italian place on Main Street. I know you love their pasta." Scarlett grinned, her eyes lighting up. "That sounds perfect. And maybe we could go for a walk afterward, by the lake?" Grayson nodded, his smile matching hers. "I'd like that. We haven't done that in a while." They finished getting ready, then headed downstairs to start their day. As they did, they talked more about the date, discussing the details of where they would go and what they would do. But every so often, they would circle back to the topic of Hunter and his upcoming trip to alpha camp. It was a big moment for their family, and they both felt the weight of it. "I just hope he comes back even more prepared for the responsibility of being alpha," Grayson said, as they walked towards the kitchen. Scarlett nodded, her expression serious. "Me too. But I also hope he has a chance to enjoy himself and make some friends his own age." Grayson smiled, putting his arm around her. "I'm sure he will. He's a good kid, and he's got a lot of potential." They walked into the kitchen, ready to face whatever the day had in store for them. But no matter what happened, they knew they had each other, and that they would always be there to support their son as he took his place as the next alpha of their pack. Grayson and Scarlett were enjoying a rare night out, just the two of them, at a cozy Italian restaurant. They had been looking forward to this date for weeks, and Grayson had gone all out, dressing up in a suit and tie and making sure that everything was perfect. But as they left the restaurant and headed towards the nearby lake for a romantic walk, things started to go wrong. First, Scarlett's heel broke, causing her to stumble and nearly fall. Then, it started to rain, a sudden downpour that soaked them both through. And as they walked around the lake, they found themselves lost in the woods, with no idea which way to go. Despite all of this, Grayson was determined to salvage the evening. He wrapped his arm around Scarlett, holding her close and trying to shield her from the rain. "I'm sorry about all of this," he said. "I wanted tonight to be perfect." Scarlett shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "It's okay," she said. "I'm just happy to be here with you." They walked on in silence for a few more minutes, trying to find their way back to the car. But then they heard a loud growling noise, and they both froze. Grayson's wolf senses kicked in, and he could smell the scent of pack members from a nearby pack that were not friendly. He knew that they were in danger, but he didn't want to alarm Scarlett. "Stay close to me," he said quietly. As they walked on, the growling grew louder, and they could hear the sounds of other wolves approaching. Grayson knew that they had to act fast, so he grabbed Scarlett's hand and led her toward a nearby clearing. They crouched down behind a large rock, watching as a group of three wolves approached. Grayson recognized them as members of a rival pack, and he knew that they were looking for trouble. But Grayson was a skilled fighter, and he was determined to protect Scarlett at all costs. He shifted into his wolf form, letting out a fierce growl as he faced off against the rival wolves. The fight was intense, with teeth and claws flying. Scarlett watched in horror, her heart racing as she saw her mate in danger. But she knew that Grayson was strong, and she had faith in his abilities. In the end, Grayson emerged victorious, his wolf form standing tall over the defeated rival wolves. He shifted back into human form, his body trembling with adrenaline and exhaustion. Scarlett rushed over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding him close. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion. Grayson nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm okay. I just needed to protect you." They made their way back to the car, soaked through and exhausted but safe. As they drove home, Grayson was determined to make the rest of the evening perfect for Scarlett. He drew her a hot bath, pouring in her favorite scented oils and lighting candles around the room. As she soaked in the tub, he sat beside her, holding her hand and listening as she talked about her hopes and dreams. He was determined to make up for the earlier mishaps, and he knew that the only way to do that was to show Scarlett just how much he loved and cared for her. Later, as they lay in bed together, Grayson held Scarlett close, his arms wrapped around her body. "I'm sorry about tonight," he said. "I know it didn't go as planned." Scarlett smiled, snuggling closer to him. "It's okay," she said. "I still had a great time. And besides, it was kind of exciting, in a way." Grayson smirked as he dived down under the covers, making Scarlett giggle. Soon the giggles turned to light moans as Scarlett sank her head back into her pillow and closed her eyes.
