Aaron’s pov.
I crushed the last of the cigar on the ash tray only to light another one the next second. It was the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Smoke covered the whole room and I didn’t bother opening the curtains to let some of it out.
With one hand, I undid the buttons of my shirt and took it off. The back was stained with blood. Cuts I’d acquired because of one careless distraction.
I’ve never lost a fight before. Never even gotten close to losing one. I only fight when I was in the mood to trash someone. And yet today, I’d been beaten badly all because of the presence of one girl.
The washroom’s door opened and through the hazy view of the smoke filled room, a slender naked body appeared.
My eyes roamed over her curves, my d**k twitching in my pants as she tiptoed towards me.
“Aaron,” she whispered as she straddled me, her fingers drawing figures on my chest. “I can feel how much you want me.”
I released a breath, ditching my half burnt cigarette as I flipped her over, throwing her into the bed.
She spread her legs wide open, showing me her wet cunt and I released another breath as I approached her.
“Good. Now touch yourself for me.”
She did as she was told. Like a good little girl. I leaned back, my eyes twinkling as I watched her pleasure herself until she came apart in front of me.
A frown covered my face. That was too quick.
“Again!” I ordered and the girl’s face fell as she opened her eyes.
“Y-you… you are not going to touch me?” She looked surprised and confused. “This is the fifth time, Aaron. You said you couldn’t wait to have me. That was why I rushed over here. And you’re just going to make me touch myself again?”
My patience was growing thinner as I listened to her lay out her frustrations.
“That was what you assumed.” I said, my voice dark as I held her chin in between my fingers, “All I wanted was a good girl who could follow orders perfectly and it seems you’re not cut out for it.”
I pinched my brows in frustration. “Get out! Tell the man outside to give you your pay.”
“Wait— Aaron, listen to me. I was just joking. I can do what you want. I can touch myself again for you. Just—“
“Out!” I barked and this time, she saw the clear warning in my eyes and didn’t need to be told a third time before she hurriedly picked up her dress and ran out of the room crying.
At the same time, someone stormed inside. An uninvited guest.
When I saw Enzo storming inside my room, I c****d a brow, wondering who could’ve pissed him off so bad but then I realized too late that his anger seemed to be directed at me.
His punch landed square and solid on my jaw and I tasted blood. Anger curled in my gut, coupled with the agitation I already felt. It took me only a few seconds to recover before I swung a punch back, square at his nose that immediately started bleeding.
“What the f**k is wrong with you, Enzo?”
“I should be f*****g asking you that.” He grabbed my collar, pinning me to the wall, looking like an enraged beast. “How dare you take my sister to that filthy place you animal? You knew better!”
I paused, “What are you talking about? Where did I take your sister?” The moment I asked the question, it clicked and I couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped my lips, “Mia told you I took her to the ring?”
“My man saw you together with her.”
“Then you should be on your knees thanking me for saving her. Do you know what those filthy men would’ve done to her if I didn’t show up there in time?”
Enzo paused, now looking suspicious. We both knew how mischievous that little trouble maker could be. And tonight, I just happened to be her poor victim.
“It wasn’t you?” Enzo’s grip on me loosened and he backed away slowly.
“Am I out of my mind? Why would I take her there?”
“But she said—“
“She’s lying. Whatever she says—“
“That little brat!” Enzo scoffed angrily, curling his fists, “If I lay my hands on her—“
“What are you going to do?” I scoffed, as I picked up my shirt and threw it on. “We both know you can’t bear to make her suffer.”
“She’s testing my patience. I’m afraid I don’t have anymore left.”
“You’ve been saying that for a year now.” I sighed, wiping the blood from my lips, a little angry, “You don’t even trust me and yet you call me your friend.”
Enzo glanced at my face. “I didn’t hit you that hard.”
“Oh, I’m afraid any harder and I would have lost all my tooth.”
“Don’t be dramatic.” He picked up the bottle of half drunk wine that was lying carelessly on the table and chugged it down like it was ordinary water.
“f**k. That was nice.” Enzo said, breathing hard before he took in the messy state of my room. “You look like you just finished some kinky business.”
“Since you’ve gotten your answer, you should f**k off.”
“Now that’s no way to treat a friend.” Enzo said, siting on my couch like he owned it. I ignored him as I threw on new pants.
“Where are you off to?”
“The club.” I told him. I needed to be distracted or I was afraid I was going to be drowning in my sorrows again. And that would make me go out of my mind.
“I was going to ask a favor.”
I paused and when I glanced at Enzo, he looked away. He never asks for favors. If he does, then he was in serious s**t.
I walked up to the space and sat on the opposite couch, giving him a suspicious look.
“Spit it out.”
“I need to leave the country for some time.”
I c****d a brow, urging him to explain better.
“Remember the huge deal I told you I was about to land?”
I frowned, vaguely remembering him mentioning something like that. “What about it?”
“I think it was all a set up. They asked for high grade weapons. Rare ones, and were willing to pay a fortune. I thought it was an opportunity so I pulled in all my contacts.” Enzo dragged in a deep breath, “The shipment was supposed to arrive earlier this morning but It was intercepted.”
My frown deepened. “What do you mean by intercepted?”
“It’s gone! Disappeared.”
“And you suspect a set up?”
“That’s what I think. The people who made the order are from Russia. You’ve heard about the Romanov family.”
My eyes shot towards his when he mentioned that name, alarm written across my face.
“Right. I can’t mess with them.” He said, “So I need to disappear before it’s too late. I’ll figure out the truth from the shadows and give them an explanation before they make me a target.” Enzo sighed, looking at me, “My sister can be a handful. Still, I only trust you to look after her.”
“That’s the favor you were going to ask?”
Enzo gave a nod and I dragged in another breath. Any other thing I could’ve easily said yes but taking care of that trouble maker…
I knew she was going to make my life a living hell.
