“The gift of sight? What does that mean?” I instantly questioned.
“It’s an unusual gift that blesses those who are tied to a particular moment or person. They are joined together because of the strong experience or trauma that occurred and are able to see without seeing or see beyond in a sense,” Liam started.
“So, we think, because of your experience ten years ago,” Lawrence picked up. “It tied you to him, and since you were so young, it impressed your mind to link with him. So, in a way, you can see into his mind or through his eyes, though he cannot do the same back.”
“Why not?”
Lawrence and Liam both smiled sadly at me. “Though it was traumatic for you, unfortunately, we very much doubt that it was the same type of experience for him.”
