Eleanor’s POV I felt like a silly school girl, but I could stop the small smile that formed on my lips and the not-so-subtle glimpses of my mate that I stole. To know that he immediately apologized to me first and still wanted to be with me had put me on cloud nine. I knew that he was too good for me.I had acted like a brat to him, going so far as to say I’d reject him if I didn’t get my way, and he forgave me without hesitation. That was the mark of a true man–someone who loved me for me. Though I knew we’d probably fight about something else down the road, it was extremely comforting to know that he wouldn’t leave me.
