“Um, what?” I asked, raising my eyebrows in surprise. “Can you repeat that?”
“That’s mighty lofty, no?” Lawrence stated.
Both Alexander and Berty nodded in agreement. Edward merely smiled at everyone and waited for us to give him our attention again.
“We’re going to finally put an end to Nicholas once and for all,” Edward said again.
Hailey frowned. “What did he do to you? Why do you have a vendetta against him? I mean, we all have our reasons in this group, but you’re new and we don’t know you. What could he have done to you to make him want to kill him?”
