leaning my head on his chest, Kil’s face buried in my hair. They were trying to make me change my mind. We did everything together. If only he knew I planned on getting him a little surprise for the next time they came over. The twin’s birthday was in three days. Their father always threw an extravagant party thrown for them on that day, but tomorrow was our day. “You guys wouldn’t want to come, it's girl stuff” I said, putting my best smile on so they wouldn't think I was hiding anything. West stared suspiciously and began to walk towards me. Stopping directly in front of me, he gently caressed my cheek with the back of his fingers “ When have we ever mind your…‘girl stuff’? West said with a seductive smirk. I didn’t mind him… "Well, as much I could. He was a big flirt, yet what he said was so true. I couldn't think of a time when they did care about that. Even when I was on my monthly cycle, there was always a warm hand rubbing my stomach. Or rubbing my feet. Even Aubrey, she was new addition to our little group. Yet she'd come over and stroked my hair and she would bring me my favorite soup from my favorite diner when I was sick, and just watch movies for hours… "Wow, I felt so lucky looking back. “We’ll be trying on a whole bunch of clothes and taking forever.” West looked at me up and down with an unreadable expression on his face. Removing his hands from my face and putting them in his pocket and went to sit at the breakfast nook. What was that? Silas leaned on the fridge with one hand under the other, eating his apple, looking very entertained. “Do you think saying that would make us not want to go? We’re coming” He said I had to think fast, or I would lose my only opportunity to get the stupid game. I was feeling desperate now “I really don’t want you guys making Aubrey feel weird while we change clothes. I never had a female friend before, and I don’t want your stubborn a**es scaring her off and messing it up!” I said that, wondering if I went too far. I could see them look at one another as they contemplated my words. I knew they were concerned, yet they also looked like the felt guilt. Which made me feel horrible, but it was for a good cause, and It was the truth…well... half of it. I had noticed that Aubrey wasn’t easily scared off, like most people were, surprisingly. Most importantly, I didn’t feel like she was using me to get to the boys, which was a big plus in my book. Hopefully, our blooming friendship will last a long time. They eventually caved, but not before making me carry mace along with me. I found it to be a little excessive, but who was I to complain after getting the green light. Plus, the boys weren't huge fans of Aubrey. They didn’t dislike her.. More like they tolerated her for my sake. She was a spit fire for sure. It was actually entertaining at times. They fought like cats and dogs. Silas didn’t have any patience for her whatsoever. Which didn’t stop her from hanging around. After taking dad’s rolls royce, we eventually were able to buy the new final fantasy game Kil wanted so badly. I preordered it just in case! So all I had to do was go and pick it up. He was talking nonstop about it for weeks. Which made me want to go and buy it. He was very reserved, and he liked to just observe most of the time, adding a joke here or there. I was so excited for them to come over tomorrow. The next morning. The sun had just risen, welcoming in the morning. The sound of birds singing as they began searching for food for the little ones. I wanted to make breakfast with mom today. If I get up now. I thought to myself. The food should be ready by the time the guys arrive. It was only because I was in a good mood. Also, spending time with mom was always fun. Mom made the best pancake and spanish omelets. I was heading to the bathroom downstairs,
