Mariah POV

The school day was over. I was going to my locker to get my school books for my homework. Just then another guy came up to me. "Hey, I am James. I have a message for you. Jeff wants to meet with you, in about ten minutes, on the old football field."

I replied "I don't give a s**t what Jeff wants. He can wait there all night because I am not going. And if you touch me. I won't hesitate to put your ass to the ground. You or your stupid smelly friend tries anything. I will hurt you." With that I slammed my locker and went to my car. I unlocked it when Justin came up behind me. He tapped me on the shoulder. I jumped and turned around. I punched him right in the face. I said "Oh my. I am sorry Justin. I didn't mean to punch you. You came up behind me. I am sorry, can you forgive me."

Justin said "it is okay. But damn you have a punch. What do you do, do you have rocks inside of your really tiny fists of fury?! I think you dislocated my jaw. Note to self don't sneak up on you. Anyway, I was coming to ask you a question but now I kind of have a feeling it won't be good for me at least."

I said "Justin, I am sorry. My sperm donor came up behind me when I was little. That is why I don't like surprises. I don't take it very well. But what was your question?"

Justin asked "so I was wondering if you want to come to the gym with me. Honestly, I need a challenge to help with my training for part of my father's business. And can you help me with all my classes. I am completely lost?"

I replied "I don't have my workout gear with me. They are at my house. If you don't mind following me with your car to my house I would like to work out with you. But I won't take it easy on you. And of course for your classes. I got you covered. I will help you."

Justin replied "yeah I can follow you and thank you for your help. You won't regret it and plus I am actually glad you won't take it easy on me. I need the challenge." With that we got into our cars. We started driving to my house. When we pulled up, that is when I noticed my father sitting on the porch. My mother wasn't home because was still at work. So before I got out of my car. I called the police. The police said they will be there in a minute. I got out of my car. I waited for Justin to get out of his car.

My father said "well it is about f*****g time you show up. Let me in so I can get settled. I already talked to your mother. She said it was fine."

I replied "Erik get off my property. Because I own the house. Second, you won't be able to get a hold of my mother because she has been in a meeting all day since 9 this morning. And third, the police are on their way. And there are cameras all up. They have video and auto."

My father was angry and said "when did you get to be this hateful to your father. And you will let me in because I will hurt you if you don't." With that I was laughing.

I replied "you hurt me? Don't make me laugh because honestly you can't hurt a damn fly. And I can break you. And when I became like this is when you did what you did. Justin I am sorry again you have to see this pathetic excuse of a man."

My father got pissed because he knew he can't manipulate me and said "fine, I will go for now. But you haven't seen the last of me."

I replied "thank you for letting me know. That way I will know if my safety guards will work plus the booby traps I placed all all around my yard. It is like a battlefield. That only mother and I know. So get off my property the way you came in." With that my father walked away. I turned to Justin and shrugged. Justin asked, "ready to go to the gym?" I nodded and went into my house and got my workout clothes. And went back outside where Justin was. Just then a car came up to my driveway. I stood there looking. The car was parked and out of the car. It was Jeff.

Jeff started talking and said "I don't like it when I get stand-up."

I replied "I don't give a s**t what you want and I don't care what you want to talk about. So get the hell off my property." Jeff was stupid to step on my property because no I have a legal way to shoot him in his leg because "he created a threat to me." I ended up pulling out my Remington Arms colt. I pointed it right at him, he froze right in his tracks. "Jeff, you came on to my property, which the law stated I can fire my weapon because you are trespassing and knowing you, you don't like to be told no or not get your way. So you oppose an immediate threat to me and my guest to our safety. So I can legally fire this weapon."

Justin was shocked but he was also smiling at me. Justin then said "damn, you don't take anyone's s**t do you?" I shock my head. Justin replied "Jeff, you won't win. You might as well go and get off the land. You know you won't with one phone. And do I have to call you father about your still on the land you are trespassing. You can only stay on this land for school nothing else. So do I have to make the call?"

Jeff replied "I don't care. But I will be taking that feisty annoying female that is beside you." With that he took steps forward. Right there and then I shot him in his leg. He went down to the ground. "And these are silver and with the lead that is them you can die. So you might want to call James, that is your friend's name to get you to the hospital." I said. Jeff looked confused, and then really pissed. Justin looked confused at me.
