Chapter 3-Shopping

After dinner, we headed towards the garage where the cars were packed and I found out that I had my own personal chauffeur.

That was a close call because if i was asked to drive my own car then it would have blown my cover.

In my former pack I was never allowed to step out only to run some errands and I always did that on foot so I had no experience whatsoever with driving.

Throughout the ride juiliana kept babbling about how my soon to be husband is cool and hot, like she practically licks the ground he walks on, a stranger would think she’s the one getting married to him.

We arrived at the mall in less than 30 minutes, this was a very popular mall that welcomed every member of any pack so it was bustling with people.

When we entered the mall we immediately had people to attend to us because I was someone of high status and also a frequent customer.

They ushered us to the clothe section and we began trying out some dresses, I later ended up with three dresses that I loved.

Juliana just took the one she wanted for the ball and when it was time to pay, it hit me hard that I didn’t have any money on me and I forgot to even check around the room for a wallet or something.

“Ma’am Is there something wrong?” The cashier asked, then Juliana started her own load of questions

“Crystal what happened? where’s your black card? Did you forget your wallet at home?” The questions kept pouring out of her mouth like rain.

“What about you Juliana? Don’t you have money on you?” I asked.

From the look on her face it seemed she was stunned and I made her speechless, she regained herself quickly and stuttered a bit.

“Uhhhhhm cryst..crystal when we go out together especially on shopping dates you don’t like me paying for things because you said you have more than enough so anytime we go out I don’t really bring enough money with me, the money on me is not enough to get these dresses”

Geez I felt so embarrassed right now, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole.

The cashiers fake smile dropped when she heard the questions then they passed a strange look across each other and I knew it was about to get dirty, I was getting frustrated by each passing second and if we were to return what we’ve bought then it’ll be so embarrassing uhhhhh

I had already made up my mind to tell Juliana that we should return all the dresses we took, embarrassment be damned. I was about to tell her what I had in mind when a strong outstretched arm dropped his gold card for the cashiers.

I knew him before he spoke, how could I ever forget the smell of peppermint and musk, my ever so daring mate has decided to play night in a shining armor, well good thing I can play damsel in distress.

Ramiel

I own a conglomerate and I’ve never been to any of my businesses but I’ve been getting complaints from my beta about the work etiquette of my workers in one of my malls, it seems it’s time I show my face.

Immediately my beta and I stepped into the mall, my wolf who has been dormant for so long suddenly almost threatened to come out and then a fruity and intoxicating scent clouded my senses.

I followed the scent to where two confused girl stood but before I reached there I already had an inkling of what was happening, it seemed like they were short of money before I could stop myself I took out my gold card from my suit pocket and handed it to the cashier

A shocked look passed across the cashier and one of the girls faces but the other one just looked at me with malice then masked it into something close to relief.

She was the one with the sweet scent and her friend kept looking at me with doe eyes but I was more intrigued by the other girl, after all she made my wolf wake up from its slumber.

“Thank you” she said after a moment of awkward silence and then she sashayed away with her minion trailing behind her.

What a sassy little princess, I chuckled. It was after she had left the mall that my wolf said “MATE “ but just like last time I had already figured it out.
