Fast food restaurants weren't the best for makeshift camping. There was a reasonable degree of anonymity that came with sitting in a booth toward the back of one, but it was all open space, and workers walked to and fro too often while handling their duties to not notice someone sitting motionless for the last three hours after ordering only a cheeseburger. But hey, the libraries had already closed an hour ago at 8PM, and she needed to brush up on her resume. She was done with acting the way she had promised she would be months ago, and this time for real. She should have listened, she thought as she ran her finger along a line of text.
