Sitka and Atlin were sleeping on the other one, their small faces just faintly illuminated by the thin slant of light that peeped out past the cracked bathroom door. They were still young enough to be scared of the dark, and with no nightlight, that was the best they could do. Al and Juno were sleeping in the room next door with their parents for tonight, since Kodi had been too tired to head back to her apartment after helping move their things into the new place.
