Bishop continued with his push ups on his bedroom floor and continued ignoring Jason. If he kept talking, he was fixing to get punched in the mouth. The man had knocked and then knocked again, and then a third time before finally giving up and simply barging in despite receiving no invitation to do so. But all that effort didn't mean he was entitled to a conversation.
