"The difference between me and him is that-"
He paused and cade looked at him with a serious face, that I didn't know he had.
Aiden went quiet, his feet creaking closer to me and then stopped at my front. "After school. Meet me at the parking lot. We should discuss about our project"
He diverted and I nodded, taken aback and nervous at the out turn of everything. I just had a feeling that, something was going to go terribly wrong and I didn't know why.
He looked at me for a while, before finally turning to the two guys at my sides and then he fixed his eyes on luke.
"You should make good researches later in the future"
He muttered and luke scuffed, looking over his very composed frame.
"You always think you're high and mighty uh?"
"It depends-"
He paused again, a sudden flash of something, glittering in his eyes as it moved from luke to cade.
Cade was silent for some reason, which was a bit strange, If you asked me. It wasn't a normal thing to find him quiet.
I wondered what he was going through his mind right now.
"If you mean sensible and put together. Then i'm high and mighty"
He turned to luke again. "Though, I can't say the same about you"
Luke rolled his eyes, about to say something and then I couldn't take it anymore.
"Quiet!!"
I yelled, gritting my teeth angrily at them and they stared in wide eyes.
"Aiden, luke and Cade. Get out of my way. I need to get to class"
I muttered, looking at them with a spit fire glare and they moved away almost that instant.
I passed my hands into my hair, when my eyes fell on my watch.
Shit! I was twenty minutes late.
I looked at them, my face boiling in anger by now. "You know what? There is no difference between you all. You are all a pain in the-"
I sigh, trying to calm myself down as I pointed my finger at three of them. "You just let me get in trouble for this"
I threatened and Cade was scratching the back of his neck, a glint of something like fear glowing in his eyes while luke was staring at me still in wide eyes. Aiden looked the most composed but then when I caught his eyes, he also had a glimpse of fear in them.
I sighed again just about to run down to class. When I heard the principal voice echo somewhere along the hallways.
"Who are those students skipping class?"
My eyes widened, my feet moving to the back on it's own accord and my heart was beating like an athlete running on the field.
I felt like all the air has been sucked out of my lungs and my eyes stared in horror.
I knew something was going to go wrong.
"I can hear you. Don't bother escaping"
The man uttered again and my back only stopped moving behind when it hit against Aiden's frame.
I turned my face to him, suddenly slapped back to reality. I stared at him in obvious nervousness, gripping against his black shirt.
He looked down at me, his eyes scanning my face and then he muttered. "I'm here"
I nodded, feeling just a little less terrified as my eyes shifted to the two guys next to me and I whispered. "What do we do?"
"I don't care to be found out"
Luke stated all of a sudden and cade nodded his head almost the same time with his hands crossed over his chest.
"Neither do I"
I blinked, turning my face to look at Aiden and he didn't seem one bit scared.
Crap.
I bent down, hugging myself as my heart race only took on another insane fast pace.
Shit.
I should have known it. They were bad guys. They wouldn't care about such things. I was gone for it today.
My parents were going to kill me.
When I thought about the fact that, I was often compared to betty in the family as she excelled in more things than me and the only thing I did better than her at was my education.
If I was to get caught by the principal and was reported to my parents for skipping classes. Betty was going to be officially better than me and be their favorite child in the family.
By then, I wouldn't even be able to look her in the eyes not to talk of going against her. I sighed, my under lips trembling out of fear and before I knew it, tears were flowing down my cheeks.
