Chapter 12

897 Words
Cade blinked, squatting down to my tiny frame. "A-are you crying?" He stammered and Luke and Aiden stared at me with something in their eyes. I shook my head, even though my stupid tears would not just stop flowing. This was so embarrassing. Cade reached forward to my cheeks, wiping it off as he muttered. "Of cause, we would get you out of here-" My eyes brightened up at that. "Really?" I whispered and he was about to nod when he remembered that he couldn't decide for all. He turned to glance at both Aiden and luke. Aiden looked at me for a while probably spotting the hopeful glint in my eyes and then he muttered. "I'll go right to distract him" And then my eyes shifted to luke who looked at me and then muttered. "I'll take her out of here" Cade rolled his eyes at his reply. "No. You're going to go left to distract the principal while I take her out of here" Luke scuffed. "And who made you the director?" He replied and cade's face had something like anger on it and I could predict another fight coming down again. My lips trembled as I uttered. "Guys?" When luke's eyes fell on me and the glow of fear in my eyes, he muttered almost in an instant. "Fine, I'll go left" "You just take good care of her and don't try anything funny" Cade smirked. "Of cause" He held me by my hands, leading me in the opposite direction from the principal. I trailed behind him but his legs were so long and I couldn't easily keep up with him. I think cade noticed it so he moved towards me carrying me bridal style and I froze. Turning my face to look at him. "Do you always walk like a chicken?" He muttered into the empty silence and my eyes widened, instantly asking him to shut it down. "Are you trying to alert the principal?" I whispered and he rolled his eyes, as his feet creaked towards some corridor in the school. "Aren't you being too careful now? There is no way he can hear us from here" "Whereas, Aiden and luke have gone to distract him. So, princess, you have nothing to worry about" He added and I pouted my lips at him. Princess, really? He was probably only doing this to get in my pants. Right, the same goes for those two other idiots. "You should remain forever thankful for this" He muttered as he dropped me down somewhere along the cafeteria. I scuffed at that. "For what exactly? If my memory is not deceiving me. I'm pretty sure it was you all that got me into this mess in the first place" "It's only right that you take responsibility" I added, folding my arms across myself and he gazed at me, a sudden glint of something in his eyes. Perhaps, disbelief. "You are so ungrateful" I scuffed again, as I watched him twist his hands in some weird way. Then, he looked at me, eyeing me from up to down. "And what the furck are you eating? I feel like my hands has being ran over by a truck" He uttered, and my eyes widened as my teeth gritted against themselves. "Oh please. You should be the last person to ask me that. Take a look at yourself, I'm pretty sure you're on an obesity scale already" I returned and then he looked at me with something like frustration in his eyes. "You can't be serious", he scuffed, looking me in the eyes as though he could read my mind. " I know you check me out every day" He muttered, and then I laughed, my voice echoing in the empty area while he stared in silence. After laughing for what felt like forever, I finally managed to catch my breath. I looked at his pissed face, shinning my teeth at him. "I'm sorry, I'm not into fat guys", I muttered. Though it was a lie and he wasn't fat at all but I just sought to provoke him today He chuckled in return, his eyes moving over me before he uttered. " neither I'm I into fat girls" He can't be serious. Me? Fat? I gritted looking at him in annoyance before uttering in confidence. "Well then. I'm not fat. If not, why else do you want to get in my pants" The moment I said that. I regretted it and felt like slapping myself in the face. That was a huge wrong comeback as he only kept chasing me because of the bet. I had thought that he would flaunt that in my face. Instead, he stared at me silently. An obviously pissed-off expression on his face. "I can't believe that I decided to help you" He murmured all of a sudden and I thought that it was high time I stopped my joke and apologize. Of cause, they were all doing this for the bet but no matter what their intentions were. They still chose to help me in the end. I was about to apologize when he suddenly spoke again. "Do you know that it's only you and I that are here" He muttered into the empty silence, his feet creaking closer to me and I blinked, feeling every bit of blood drain from my face.
