I couldn’t suppress a chuckle. No matter how serious Jase was, I knew I reeked of sweat, and that wasn’t the most pleasant smell at all. But I could finally understand what Jase was talking about. Jase was sweaty himself, and I still couldn’t think of anything more appealing than the mixture of our scents. Jase’s bite mark was right under my nose, and the blood still oozing from the wound was tickling my senses with such intensity that I wasn’t able to think straight. I licked the wound – once, twice – feeling like an addict getting to drugs after a long time of abstinence. I wanted more. I wanted Jase so badly that it almost ached. It did ache, I realized. It did ache down there where my slick gathered. I wanted Jase as I’ve never wanted anything else more in the world. I needed Jase.
