I knew I was making it hard for Jase, but I couldn’t help it. I still felt strange when I looked into the mirror, and even though I was slowly getting used to having a tail and walking on four, I wasn’t able to give up some human habits. Like shower. Or morning coffee. Jase still kept making it for me every day. I was grateful to Jase for not trying to change me. What Jase wanted from me was only to learn what a life of a wolf was like and get used to that. He never tried to forbid me my human needs and joys, though he didn’t understand many of them. The only thing I really felt irritated about Jase was the werewolf’s hanging on his alpha title. However, it was getting better with time and with the right words said.
