My eyes were blurry as I struggled to see whose voice that was. The way the person called my name from afar, I certainly know that the voice was from a man I can barely recognize. “It feels so good to have you here.” The voice spoke, but I knew he was certainly making fun of me, not that he was asking from a place of care. He didn't smell like a pack wolf either. His scent was muted, almost covered by herbs and something else I couldn't quite fathom, something foreign.
