Elysia's POV The hands that lifted me were surprisingly gentle. I hadn't expected that. Everything about this situation screamed danger. From the blindfold cutting into my temples, the strange voices around me, the lingering fog in my head from whatever they'd drugged me with. But the grip on my arms was careful, almost hesitant, as if whoever held me was afraid of breaking something fragile. "Where are you taking me?" My voice came out hoarse.
