Chapter 3

Three days had passed since I left home my father didn’t even say goodbye That night before we left he stayed in his room not even Chloe came out to say bye it was hurtful but I did get how sad it was but they could have tried at least after all I’m still his daughter or He could even try and contact me but I was with Marcus now  and it felt so good like I belong with him it was a perfect fit and we were getting closer ever day I never thought I’d find this with anyone ever in my life it’s better than I imagined I love this man so much with all my heart all ready in this short time I’d die for him it hurts to think anything could happen to him as I look at him Asleep next to me he is just so perfect in every way I could watch him sleep forever  but he wakes up opens his eyes And smiles “hay babe morning” I smile back at him “morning big guy” he leans over kisses me gently then jumping up putting on his trousers “be back soon beautiful” and he dashed out I know were he was off to he was going for breakfast I was hungry my belly was letting me know as it made noises so  I lie back down  and think of the first day I arrived here it was all so different from were I came from this place and  the people everything was just weird and different they don’t live in houses like we did  well except the Alpha and The  Luna they had a big beautiful house at the front It was massive like mansion type but then there was like tents in the shape of squares all around and a little cottage style house across from Alphas that’s were I was staying  with Marcus as that is were the better stays and we don’t have internet here or TVs or phones nothing well except Alpha he has one phone in his house for contacting the out side and he has one tv in a room for his Luna but no one else had anything like that out here and they were all happy no one cared and everywhere u look is forest behind the tents n houses it was beautiful so much space  they had a fire in the centre of our living space that everyone goes to each night for dinner and stories and the clothes are washed in a stream just a mile from us and clothes put up and out over ropes from trees it was like looking at and old movie about the war  or something I was scared at first I’m used to having everything done for me and having a phone internet tv DVD’s showers cookers the lot but non of that here so it was a shock at first but people here like to walk barefoot the men like to walk around topless aswell the men hunt and fix things woman do the cooking and washing and taking care of the kids or here they say cubs as I said it is like something out an old movie from the old times but I am kind of starting to like it as it feels free here no rules no humans around to try and be like it’s in the middle of nowhere we are free to change and hunt run around do whatever we want but again the men rule and woman do as they are told and I’m not one for following rules and don’t like people telling me what to do yesterday one of the men threw a plate my way it landed on my lap he  shouted “help the wives And woman clean up as you are one of us now ain’t ya” He scared me at first as I am not used to it Not used to anyone talk to me like that never mind threw things at me As I was the daughter of an Alpha so I was going to tell him we’re I was going to ram this Plate when Marcus jumped up grabbed the man and punched him In the face they were both ready to fight it out You could see the man was scared he was shaking and he was no match for Marcus you could tell by just looking at them both Who was the strong one but I put my hand on Marcus’s shoulder tried to smile and said “it’s ok I will help out but because I’m now a member of this pack not because he  said so” then I kissed Marcus on the cheek and seen him relax he grinned at me Patted me on the butt and I took a few other plates with me from the other men around the fire non of them were anything like that nasty man and I went to the stream with a few of the other ladies and started to wash The plates some of the woman would whisper to each other not Wanting to come near me except from one “hi I’m Fona” she reaches out her hand smiling and I take her hand “you will get used to it here don’t worry it’s hard at first but it will calm down they only do it to test you make sure your fit for the pack stay strong if you need anything or any help ask me I am in the tent next to your house to the left Marcus is best friends with my mate Gerrard I’m sure we will be best of friends just give it time here we are all a good bunch really We just like our ways so some take that to far”. She seems so sweet and nice I think she might be right we will be good friends we walked back together slowly and I found out the man who threw the plate at me was Josh and he was the one in the pack with the most anger and tries to test everyone he wants to be the next Beta but a lot of the people here don’t like him he wants to climb up the ranks to Beta but he has no rank yet or ever I already hate him and I would love to smack him in the face but I stay strong and keep smiling as we got back I need to fit in here as I am now a pack member and new , no we’re else to go and this is were my mate is and these people will be my new family so I better suck it up be me and learn this new way it doesn’t seem so bad and I can do this ,  ok so I can do it I kept telling myself and that is what Marcus says “Carmel you belong here you can do this I’m here for you always I love you And we belong together anywhere we go as long as we are together we will get three anything” and that will keep me going everyday just having him with me  .
