Chapter 13

I woke up to en empty room I jumped up in panicked why was no one here were is everyone oh no Marcus I run out to the big main room to find Marcus and Athena talking in hushed voices when they see me they stop I herd Marcus “not a word” to Athena and she nods and leaves o go over to him hug him hard then look him over “babe I’m fine now I healed fast nothing wrong” I smack him in the arm “really Marcus I got the freight of my life there what took you so long to get back and did Athena full you in and why did you tell her not to say a word what’s going on” I rushed it all out in one breath I gave my self a headache there “calm down babe I’m all good yes she told me and sit down before you fall down take a breath I’m hear now I had to make sure everyone was safe Athena put a spell around the outside of the perimeter so no one can even sneak in with or without magic” I take a deep breath good I can relax a little now “so Athena made sure the place is safe so you don’t need to go out as much now” he laughs “babe I’m Alpha I still need to go check on things keep everything going and everyone safe” I know he’s right but doesn’t mean I have to like it “let’s sit here for a while” he suggested and he took a seat I sit next to him he pulls me to him and he kisses me “how’s my boy anyway” I grin up at him “ just like his daddy giving me pain mind you he kicks harder” I laugh and pull his hand to we’re the baby was kicking he was mesmerised didn’t want to take his hand away and I fall asleep to him saying “my boy goinna be big and strong like mummy and daddy” I felt so happy in this moment and time. I woke up to pain this time it was baby pain it was all over and my belly was really heavy Marcus jolted up aswell “babe what’s wrong is it the baby” all I could do was nod and bend over “ok ok well I’ll call for Ann and Athena and Sam and Fona and” I didn’t let him finish he was panicking now “Marcus shut up we don’t need the full pack for this gosh just Sam and Athena as she might have something to help” he rubs at my back and just shouts for Athena and Sam I look at him “to get them don’t shout right in my ear” he is testing my patience already “babe I can’t leave you” I push at him “it’s just started they say it takes a while so go get them Marcus I will be fine for a few moments” he dashed out and I try to stand and deep breathes in and out ok so I can do this in out on out awwww the pain and with that I started to feel my body change “stop her from changing she can’t while in labour” Athena shouted as she ran over to me Marcus picking me up into his arms “Carmel listen to me don’t change ok try stop it from happening” I look to Marcus I can’t stop it happening it’s the pain he could tell as he is the one who said it “she can’t stop it” he was looking from me to Athena “Carmel what have you had to eat or drink since last night” I try to think “some of the baby juice you left in the fridge Athena that’s all why” she was shaking now “Marcus we have a traitor in the pack I didn’t make any new baby juice up I was going to start it tomorrow so someone left it there and I can see something working round Carmel now they wanted her to go into labour they wanted her to change and damage the baby or worse” she closes her eyes I stare in disbelief at Marcus who was shaking with anger aswell now “awww” I cry out “Athena help her now I swear I’ll find and kill the person responsible for this” Athena tells Marcus to take me to my room and he does as she says I lay there in agony trying not to change into wolf the sweat was pouring of me I was roasting hot burning up I had broke my leg bone and fixed it twice now to stop the change “ok Carmel drink this for now” Athena hands me the cup “it will stop the change and pain for now but it won’t last long Marcus I need a few things and a helper if possible” she hands him a piece of paper and next Ann walk right in and over to Athena “Marcus throw everything out that’s in the fridge case Fona touches it” I growl “already done I got Gerrard down to sort it he’s looking for who did this he has the best nose for that just you worry about you for now breath” if it’s not one thing it’s another I close my eyes and I think I slept a bit as I open my eyes and herd Marcus day “she’s awake” I look at him confused “Marcus I feel better did Athena help me again “ I hoped  “babe everything is all ok Athena managed to stop the drink taking full effect you won’t want to change now she gave you some cream and injection to stop all pain so you won’t feel anything and it won’t be long till it’s all over” it’s then I notice Sam beside me aswell “oh hi Sam how is the baby” I ask he tries to smile and looks at Marcus I am afraid now “Marcus what’s wrong with the baby” why is he not telling me anything I look for Athena I try sit my head up but Marcus pushes it back “babe lie still don’t get up”  I Gulp trying to hold back the tears “Marcus tell me what’s going on” he sighs “babe with everything going on you ripped a few things and started to bleed Athena is taking the baby out now but you can not move she is doing it as fast as she can please don’t worry” did he tell me not to worry is he serious “ are you f*****g kidding me don’t worry I’m cut open ripped a few things as you say and don’t know if my baby is” I stop mid sentence I herd my baby cry out he was here he was ok the tears flow out I couldn’t stop them “here’s your beautiful baby boy healthy boy” Athena hands me him I was in awe he was perfect in every way “Marcus he is here our boy is amazing oh my” I gushed this is my little angel boy in my arms I made him so tiny and cute and new I look at Marcus “he looks like you daddy” I try to wipe away the tears with one hand “do you want to hold your son daddy” I ask he has the biggest smile on his face and his eyes are glazed with tears he holds his arms out and I pass over the baby  “we need to name him now” we have never felt this happy before we now have our own little family here healthy and together nothing could mess this moment up it’s perfect.
