"Why did you do that?" I turned back to Homer, my hand instinctively flying out to slap him across the face.
"I'm sorry, Nicole," he replied, rubbing his cheek. "I just came to ask for another shot at our relationship."
I shook my head in disbelief. "Another shot? You cheated on me with my sister!" I said, my voice laced with anger, especially after he had just kissed me in front of Nathan. "And how can you even ask for another chance when I'm already married?"
"Nicole, please listen," he tried to reach for my shoulders, but I stepped back. "There's something you need to know about your husband!"
