Oh my God! He really came to save me.
What would have happened if Andrew hadn’t shown up? Just thinking about it sent chills down my spine, and I started sobbing again.
Andrew was driving me to Nathan's place, but I told him I didn’t want to go home, so he took me to his place instead. As soon as we arrived, Winter dashed over, instantly recognizing me and jumping up to lick my face.
"Winter, not tonight, please..." Andrew said, and it was like the dog understood him. She bounded away and flopped onto the couch, watching us quietly as we walked past the living room and into the hallway through the rooms.
