CHAPTER 12
"Hey there, Toby. I'm surprised to see you here without your mate," Twix said, pouring a cup of coffee for him.
Toby smiled thinking about his mate. It had only been a couple of hours, but Toby missed Nash as if he had been gone for days. "He had to get back to work. As much as I might wish he never left my side, I know he has a job to do."
"How's your brother?" Twix asked in concern.
Shrugging, Toby answered, "He's holding up. He's with Ethan right now. They're supposed to meet me here when he's finished with his session."
Twix looked around, then said, "Why don't you grab that coffee and we can go sit at a booth and talk. Things have slowed down and I have a few minutes."
Toby did as Twix asked. Looking around, Toby asked, "So, how is Fiere?"
