XI Prison 1939-1945The work in the mine became increasingly harder over the months that followed. Although the boys were helping, the men felt the need for another adult. Nino thought they should find a new partner, but Gino was against that idea. To show that he was not being irrational he did his best to put even more effort into his part of the work.
